Hawaiins from a honey lc. Rye spawned to coir and verm. Finally an even pinset. The difference this time? I didn't keep opening it every 5 min to look at it.

Pinning is my favorite time of a grow. At least when it’s pinning nicely like this. The harder you look the more you see and you know you’re gonna have a forest soon. Sweeet.

Thanks guys! Now that I know my sterile technique for agar is on point, I'll def be cloning one of these. Does it matter what flush you clone from? Any advantages over earlier vs later flushes? I've read the later flushes are less potent so I'm tempted to clone from my second flush if the first doesn't produce any beasts.

Same! It's when it starts becoming real! And yeah once you see a few, they all start popping out at you. Especially right when the knots are JUST before a pin (primordia?).
And yes Mitch will be missed. He's in my top 5 of all time.

no it doesn't really matter it's most likely going to be the same genetics but your first flush gives you more of an idea as to what to expect and later flushes have a higher contam rate but certainly doable

Congratulations, those are so beautiful, do you tend to trim as they go, or just let the tub full fruit then chop down the whole lot?
