Unexpected fruits
    #26556275 - 03/25/20 01:52 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

Habitat:
I inoculated a sterile bosley bag with P. Cubensis v. Z. This is what grew. Hard to tell if it has gills, doesnt bruise blue.. What the hell?

That's crazy! It looks like it has a face on the bottom of it in the third pic. It kinda looks something like when PE does the blob thing. Weird it doesn't bruise blue.

I Don't Think It's Psilocybe Cubensis.

Could You Cut It Directly In Half & Then Upload Pictures Of It?

Definitely Not Psilocybe Cubensis, Looks Like Somebody Sent You The Wrong Spores. It Looks To Be An Agaricus Sp.

It grew just that one mushroom?

I agree with MpSeph, kinda looks like Agaricus bisporus that wasn’t in its ideal growing conditions.
If it was from a procured syringe, go to the site and see what’s there that looks alike.

It's pushed out a couple of these. Spores were from Ralphster. Funny thing is I have some Z monos and bags from the same syringe that are clearly cubensis. I'm so crazy confused by this, ha! Thanks for the ID!

looks like a red bruising Agaricus, clone it and add some hpoo to the substrate and see what happens.

Yeah, I Don't See Why Not. I Know It's Agaricus, But I Don't Know Which Species.

I Don't Think A Spore Company Would Have Any Poisnous Agaricus Spores Around. Wouldn't Be Enough To Do Much Harm Anyway.

It Won't Contain Psilocybin, But Might Be Pretty Tasty Sauteed In Butter👍

Or Like Doc Said, Clone It & Then You'll Have Plenty Of Food During The Shutdowns & Such.
