Hi Guys, Long time follower first time poster. Just wanted to get your opinion on these guys. I found them in a water buffalo pasture after a rain and high humidity.
Species # 1
Habitat: Grassy water buffalo pasture, in shade near a tree, growing out of manure
Gills: black
Stem:hollow, fragile, sometimes bruised blue
Cap: rounded?
Bruising: Blue/black
General location: Water buffalo pasture, growing directly out of manure
I also posted a partial spore print. Thanks for your help!

Panaeolus cyanescens. Where do you see that cube Allium? If you f8nd specimens that looks like this and doesn't turn blue, chances are they're panaeolus antillarum.

Both specimens show blueing.
I stand with Coplandia cyanescens with the first specimen, and Psilocybe cubensis for the second specimen.

Same here mate. But check again. The one I think you believe is cubensis is an old, dry cyan. All six pictures there are cyans.

After looking further, it seems he has three sets of mushrooms in the pics.
The first two sets are cyans, but I still believe the last one to be cubensis.
I have picked many a cubensis that have that exact splitting of the cap.
Not saying that cyans don't do that as well, but I personally have never encountered it.
I'd bet the farm the last one is a cubensis cap
Let's see what anyone else thinks

It's panaeolus mate π Look at the crackling of the cap. Cubensis doesn't do that. They get wrinkly. And look at the gills. Cubes doesn't get black gills. They turn dark purplish brown. And, there aren't any veil on the stem.

All Look To Be Panaeolus (Copelandia) Cyanescens.
I See No Psilocybe Cubensis. The Mushroom With The Split Cap In Pics #5 & #6 Looks To Be Panaeolus (Copelandia) Cyanescens.
Wait For A TI To Chime In. Nice Findsπ

Cubes do do that for certain, and I've even found them like that many times.
This being said, if the trusted identifier doens't see a cube, well then, neither do I.
Sorry for the big head, hehe

humidity is the cause of them splitting.
That 5th picture does look sorta like a Psilocybe cubensis, if that's the spore print to the mushroom in the 5th picture, does it have purplish tones?

In The 3rd Picture, You Can See Splits Starting To Form In The Cap Of The Pan Cyan.
It Would Look Just Like The Pan Cyan In The 5th & 6th Picture If Left For A Little Longer.

no need, that 5th pic had me looking at it hard because I have seen similar looking cubes, that's why I wanted to know about the spore print.
