In the lower middle section where all that rhizmorphic growth is.. is that a little bluish or am I tripping? Other than that looks good to me.

I'd keep any eye on those yellow droplets

your sub is producing metabolites and is fighting off bacteria

the growth of the myc looks good

:whathesaid:

I honestly forgot what metabolites on a sub look like. It's been a while since I've seen a tub fight off contamination like that. Also I haven't been active so  :clone:  yeah. Aha listen to this guy though. Myc looks great. I'm sure it will fruit still and give ya some nice ones.

It still has some uncolonized areas on the sides about 1" square. I figured I would give it a couple more days to finish up and I was planning on fruiting in bag. Do you think it would be better to fruit the block solo in a tub? Have these tubs ready for fruiting.

There's another pic of the sub

Wait that's still grains colonizing in a bag?

Are you planning on following monotub tek and
spawn to coir?

I'm confused need some more info.

Nah, that's my bulk compost after mixing my rye grain. I'm letting it fully colonize before fruiting.

Ahhh ok. You don't have to colonize and then "birth" to fruiting
conditions. Lots of us just mix and put right into fruiting conditions.
It won't hurt anything if you do, but its a step that is unnecessary.
That colonized bad boy is ready to start fruiting whenever you want.

Is that green fuzzy mold all over that? If so it's gonna be a failure.
That was in a bag which is what I asked you. You not doing this correctly
in the right steps.

Monotub tek
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22337800

Now this tek has no holes but your holes are fine. But you're missing
the whole process that it's supposed to be mixed and fruited in the tub.

No green or blue on the block anywhere, my camera kinda sucks. Yes it was in a bag, I placed it in my fruiting chamber, set up my light source and placed a but of foil in there. Room is currently 74°.

See this isn't right you don't just set a block in a tub. That's not
a fruiting chamber. Colonized grain needs to be spawned to coir like
this
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24077162

Then it's put into a monotub like in the link above

Yeah I colonized to rye berry then mixed up the bag, then mixed that bag with manue based bulk. What I put in the picture is my finished 7lb block. Think it will still fruit?

There's no fruit 7pb block teks that I'm aware of. When you spawned the
grain to bulk it was supposed to go into a a tub not left in a bag to
make a 7lb block.

Lets wait for some more help here and someone to chime in on what
would be best to do with that thing.

This is my second run, however the first time I spawned, colonized, mixed, and fruited in bag. I also split my blocks into two separate bags. My thinking was this, in a tub there's much better fae, I also had no problem fruiting off 3.5lb blocks before. I dunno, it's all an adventure. nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Yeah just hang in there and read the info in those links and

watch that video of spawning to bulk. Let's wait for more help

here and advice on what to do with that block.

While the attempt is weird, I think you'll get fruits. Next time, don't treat it like a cake.
