So I had the agar stored in a 500 ml bottle in the fridge for like 2 months. The beginning of botching my agar. First time pouring and I poured way to much agar into the petri dishes. I was not fluid with my motions at all I tried not to put my hand over the dishes bit not too sure if that happened. I know I need to practice more but I'm out of a lot of my supplies so is there anything I can salvage or scrap it all and wait a while for supplies?
2 had stuff growing in it mycelium or contaminated idk. 2 others showing nothing http:// http://

You definitely have some myc growing there. Just keep an eye on them and watch for any signs of contam. Also, what did you knock them up with? Spore print?

Wow good on ya for diving into agar and pouring your own plates! You definitely have myc there so do a transfer sooner than later.

Well you can't really see the gelatin mess I have in the first one I was waiting for it to cool down like in bods tek and I don't know if I was using the inferred thermometer in the correct place because in the mid of pouring i was dumping out blobs. xD
So I used a spore syringe. Would just the middle white color stuff be the mycelium and the outside clear be a contaminant just trying to figure where to take transfer from since normally you take it from the outside edge

Take at least 3 transfers and see where it takes you! You can for sure clean it up with a little work. Once you have a clean colonized plate it's a game changer for sure.

But should I take the leading edge of pure white or leading edge of the mucous looking color branching from the mycelium

Looks like some super wispy mycelium there. I would wait and see what else grows.

I fucked up my first pours too. I waited like 4-5 days to see contams, only saw some on 1 out of 15 or so plates. The only contams after inoculation we’re on 2 or 3 I tried to use spore streaker tool on.

Take from the strongest leading edge. Taking multiple ensures you having one that takes off. You'll most likely have contams on the first few transfers if your main plate was contammed, but you can definitely clean it up. Taking multiple also allows you to fruit a few to see what is quick and viable vs duds.
