maybe just your sleeve job?  I stopped sleeving and went back to individually wrapping for storage a while back for that reason

When doing an entire sleeve use a full length roll of wrap to get all of the stack in one go. When you need plates just  use your scalpel to free up as many as you need at a time, saves a bunch of time and works like a charm

I've been doing this for a while now, works great

Gotta be the fastest tamp pins I've ever gotten. 6 days from spawn to pins

Lots knots peeking through that arent very clear in the pic, hopefully gonna be a decent flush, definitely gonna be uneven

I do the same thing!!! But I use two 5 gallon buckets one with the bottom cut out stacked on top of the other. This gets all the steam to condense into shine. Also I don't run water in mine lol. I have always worked in places with a bar. The bucket under the beer taps where all the foam goes makes great mash. Who needs rubbing alcohol when you got home made shine?

wait , what?

just out of curiosity , you need distilled water for something mushroom cult related? and , how long you collect the steam , just during the venting period ?

and bph , you run the pc with the leftover mash water from the beer and get shine when distilin the steam ?

i'm a bit blown away right now ha

I need distilled water for a few things including water for my medicinal tinctures.
There's only water in there right now. Fill it up with a gallon and a half
and cut it off after I fill a gallon of distilled water to make sure I don't boil dry.

You can distill anything with alcohol in it. I'd go so far as to add some sugar and yeast back to the beer and referment the whole thing to get more hooch. But if I was feeling lazy I would just run the beer. Haven't done this in 2-3 years but with things going the way they have been I may get some mash started.
