Possible contaminations?

Hey guys, first time poster really just wondering if these jars look good. I started off with agar but kind of feel like my eyes weren’t looking for the right contams on the plates. Gave 2 colonized jars a smell and they kind of just smell like the grains i used.
Theyre all going at different rates. All were shaken roughly 2 days ago and seemed to have bounced back well. Had another jar that i shook up and it never bounced back and all the grains were much much darker. Didnt even bother uploading it smells sour. All help is appreciated.

Nothing looks out of the ordinary to me. I think they're fine.

How did you smell them? those should stay closed until fully consolidated / recovered, bad idea to open 2 days after shaking I think.

Hey sinyster, i opened only the ones that are fully colonized because i read somewhere that contaminants are typically looking for uncolonized spawn. It looked all good when i opened the jar. I think it was one of Bods posts i read it on.

You only want to open them when you are ready to transfer to bulk or g2g etc...

Well good to know. I kept the 2 jars i opened seperate from the others. I’m not too worried about it. I appreciate all the input, but the main reason for this thread was because i was a little worried about if it was white mold. Does it look like healthy myc?

You can smell your jars through the filters. No need to take off the lid.
