Newbie - Side Pin and Environmental Help Needed

Good day guys.
This is my first post and need some help and direction on my current grow.
Have "successfully" caltivated a few cubes in a rather small mini mono tub, nothing spectacular but got a few grams dried and thought I would use my lessens learned and set up the following tub.
I have a 65 liter tub that I mono'd by cutting 6 holes, 2 on each side of the tub along the substrate and 1 on each "short" side at the top. Instead of filling the tub with sub I opted to go for two 5liter smaller tubs that I line and fill with a 1 to 4 spawn to coco/vermiculite. I added about 2 cm of clean sun as a capping to help with moisture.
The tubs were filled and let to colonize for 11 days after which I saw some pinning and moved it into fruiting by removing a layer of micropore from the holes. All holes have just 1 layer of micropore remaining.
The tub is now sitting in a small room with an 50 watt COB on a 12 hour timer. Also there is a very small fan in the room not pointing at the tubs direction.
Now the problem: I seems to be only getting side pins... so either my tub is getting to much or not enough FEA? Or?
Thank you for commenting and helping a fellow psychonauts.

Came home to a bit of a surprise, well after harvesting the side pinned tubs:

LoL nice job man! You don't have to do the two layers Micropore tape thing its ok to just use one layer spawn to fruit is how everyone rolls these days. You don't have to "birth" and let them colonize.
Putting tubs in tubs is fine little redundant when u don't have to Just mix your clean colonized jars with your field capacity pasteurized sub dump in a tote about 4 inches thick level it. Then set it and forget it till it starts pinning.

May be an issue if it started pushing booms before fully colonized
Generally you let the sub colonize fully and then increase fae after you see pins

Thanx for the reply @rumfor69. The idea behind the the extra layer micropore was to restrict FEA to give the sub chance to colonize fully, was under the impression it should be colonized fully before fruiting to help with contamination etc. All that being said, I'm quite sure I'm over complicating everything as always :P
@Enkidu, I was hoping by limiting the FEA and light during colonization I could delay the pinning until the sub is fully colonized, but somehow that did not happen... still not sure why all the side pins and not pins in the middle...

Dont limit light but limiting fae (frequent air exchange) is good for colonization
Yeah i do what you said. You will find different people have different definitions on what is considered "fruiting conditions"

I was always the same way the mad scientist in me just overthinks every variable lol You can do it that way it won't hurt but you don't have to either. The best pinning trigger is just full colonization which happens naturally. I only mix it up, dump in the tote, level it off, slap one piece of tape over the hole and leave it alone till it starts fruiting.
