Has anyone ever tried to pressure cook millet in oven bags?
Would this work? I think they would be easier to shake and store...

I did it with WBS once, then went grain to grain with it. I just used a little wad of poly-fill stuffed into the opening secured with a zip-tie. Worked like a charm, but I will stick to jars. I had drying out problems with the bird seed (which is mostly red and white millet).
Perhaps rye or corn would fare better as they hold much more water.
Not really advanced, almost everyone here knows about bag culture.

It will work just fine, but as ATWAR said, the only problem you will have is drying out the millet before it is done colonizing. I would definately suggest that you double bag it and put it into a pillowcase to avoid touching the edges of the pc. One bag will sometimes bust on a seam if you just use one. Make sure you let it sit overnight after you are done preparing the bag for the pc. After 24 hrs those little heat resistant endospores will have germinated and you can kill them with the pc. If you dont you might get a bacterial bloom half way through colonization.
Good Luck

***Cracked corn works much better for the oven bags. It will hold water better and will colonize very fast.****
