But anyways. If you’re still anti-mask at this point, then you’re not actually interested in protecting businesses and keeping the economy going.

More people will die if businesses are closed again, forcing people out of work, stressing them out even more.
It has been ruled unconstitutional in some states to lock down. These governors have whats coming.
Even WHO says, lockdowns as a last resort.
Data is out. Rona isn't shit. Florida has been 100% operational capacity since September 26th, no mask mandates. Death rates remained consistent.

I mean, WTF? 7 day rolling average in a state with over 20,000,000 people, 57.
57.
What is to be said about this?
And there's Sweden.
PCR test cycles set too high. Lower cycles to 30 and 70% of positive cases we see today will come back negative.

IMO, there is no pandemic besides flu, which is just beginning, AGAIN.
How does closing down businesses kill people, that doesn't make sense?

He thinks people will just kill themselves.
He doesn’t understand that businesses are going to lose most of their business in the next month whether they are forced to close or not. People don’t understand what’s about to happen.

its unfortunate how many people seem to think only in the immediate short term in terms of economic costs, but then that's the entire right wing strategy: why pay now when we can pay, more, later

I think it's pretty sickening people actually get excited about feeling like they're being good little citizens by giving up on things like Thanksgiving.

My mom and I are on the same page. We have had our issues in our past but this year, I am more thankful and grateful this year to be able to see my mom.
To hug my mom.
To laugh with my mom Not in fear of a virus.
I feel bad for all those elderly people in homes being forced into separation from their loved ones.
Virtual calling sucks.
People need human contact.

I am going to smear my human viruses all over the turkey and then come up with snarky eulogies dealing with Thanksgiving and Native Americans inability to fight infections. Die grandma, die.

The initial test results for Moderna's vaccine indicates it's effectiveness is very slightly better than Pfizer's, and it's storage temperature requirements are much more favorable.
Both vaccines offer protection from Covid, and better outcomes for the people who do get infected. More results on the safety of the vaccines will be released before the end of the month.

Pfizer motors right along with this.
https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/11/18/936060122/pfizer-to-seek-fda-ok-for-covid-19-vaccine-within-days
Quote:
The results from the final efficacy analysis of the vaccine study were released Wednesday. An interim analysis released Nov. 9 had indicated the vaccine was more than 90% effective.
In the Phase 3 study involving more than 43,000 volunteers, half received the experimental vaccine and half got a placebo. Participants received two shots, spaced 21 days apart.
In a news release describing the trial, Pfizer and its partner BioNTech reported there were 170 cases of COVID-19 among the participants: 162 cases in the people who got the placebo compared with eight seen in volunteers who got the vaccine. Ten cases of severe COVID-19 were seen in the trial: nine of them occurred in the placebo group and one was in the vaccinated group.
The companies said the vaccine's efficacy held up across gender, race, ethnicity and various ages. In people older than 65, a group at elevated risk from COVID-19, the efficacy was 94%.

This whole pandemic should be over by the end of spring
Meanwhile South Dakota has an insane governor who still refuses to mandate masks despite a 56% positivity rate
