If you use the propper mask yes but your cloth an bandannas mask are not doing a thing for you for covid.
Like i said before alot of people dont use there mask properly any ways so there effective ability to filter viruses out is even more hindered.
A gas mask fitler is the way to go you will be able to get filters that are designed to stop viruses extremely well. Plus your eye are protected as well since they are a vulnerable spot as well for viruses to enter.

they wont stop much because they are not ratted to stop viruses. There is a reason why mask have a filtration rattings when they are designed to stop viruses.
There is reason why they have n95 an n100 mask but with out the right training you can suffocate your self wearing these higher grad mask since they cut your air supply in half.
This is why a gas mask is far superior an with NBC filters ( nuclear biological chemical) your chances of getting covid with this is extremely slim oh an no breathing restrictions as well.

But they don’t allow all viral particles to pass. The ones in water drops, for example. It’s not all or nothing. If they block 25% of viruses that means you’re 25% less likely to get infected and a 25% reduction in transmission is a massive advantage when you’re taking about an infectious disease and can easily make the difference between a disease that is growing exponentially and one that is declining.
Very small changes in a virus’ ability to spread has huge public health implications

Small exit doors can't stop a person but there's a reason theaters have more exit doors than they used to
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iroquois_Theatre_fire
Doors don't stop people!
In the cultivation forum plenty of people use polyfil stuffed in jar lids to act as sterile gas exchange filters. The pores and spaces between the fibers are substantially larger than the microorganisms that we're trying to keep out. But they still work awesome.

Here's a door Fauci left open.
A snippet.
"The extraordinary severity of the 1918 pandemic remains unexplained. That the causes of death included so many different bacteria, alone or in complex combinations, argues against specific virulent bacterial clones."
Or two, because I can't stop at one, right?
"the fact that even severe, virus-induced tissue damage is normally followed by rapid and extensive repair [20, 26] suggests that early and aggressive treatment, including antibiotics and intensive care, could save most patients [84, 85] and also underscores the importance of prevention and prophylaxis."
"What this means is that in 1918 “the flu” was a ghost: “unidentified etiologic agent”. Yes, there was a virus, but it wasn’t what killed people. It was the upper respiratory tract (that is the throat and bronchial tubes, folks) strep and staph bacterial infection that turned into pneumonia. And in case you don’t remember your junior high life science class, every doorknob and surface on the planet has strep and staph on it. It is ubiquitous. Swab a doorknob and culture it on a petri dish and the resulting forest of staph and strep will make 13 year old boys diligent hand washers.
Wearing a mask is like licking doorknobs all day.
That’s why they are forcing it."

I just found it interesting how many different bacteria are responsible for pneumonia.
Wear your mask.
Or don't.

Are you against the washing of hands as much as wearing a mask?

Wash your hands how ever you like.
I wash my hands when they get dirty, or when I'm doing dishes.

Well yeah. Pneumonia just means fluid in your lungs. When bacteria die off in your lungs they leave bio films and they secrete liquids etc...

What I meant was the increased focus/frequency of such based on the "vid" guildlines. Do you disagree with that recommendation to the same degree as a mask?

There's a lack of evidence showing surface transmission.

I wouldn’t say there’s a lack of evidence. The evidence shows it is not a significant vector of transmission

So here is a question surely I will get chewed up for. It probably has an obvious answer. It has probably been answered many times. But fuck it its time to ask anyway.
If there is a vaccine going around with a high percentage of effectiveness why is the world not mostly inoculated and this pandemic almost over?
I am not saying its because a 1 year tested vaccine is like an ineffective infant in the vaccine world and it takes years of testing to prove effectiveness with a reliability in the vaccine world.
But if not that then why? Not enough people are taking it? There is not enough vaccine to go around? It has not been long enough? These are possible reasons?
But is it also possible the vaccine is too early to be as effective as everyone is making it out to be?
Serious answers only please. I would like the question addresses appropriately. Without sarcasm. This is not the pub
Thanks in advanced for the serious and engaging discussion ahead.
