Going to be tough to reach a specific threshold, say 70% vaccinated, when people with allergies are being told to avoid getting jabbed due to possible reactions.
3,150 is not "a few". And they're just starting.
I don't think each of those 300,000 dead were directly related to coronavirus. I heard, 6% were directly related to coronavirus, the remaining 94% had on average 2.6 other underlying comorbidities.
https://www.publichealthontario.ca/en/laboratory-services/test-information-index/sars-rt-pcr
"Testing Indications If SARS Coronavirus is suspected contact the Public Health Ontario laboratory immediately to consult with a microbiologist.
Testing is not routinely available in Canada. If the travel history and clinical presentation raise suspicion of SARS testing may be available through special request at the National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) after approval by PHOL and NML microbiologists.
The SARS – RT-PCR test will be performed by special request only."
I wonder how many cases of SARS1 Canada would have had, had they implemented nation wide testing like they're doing now.
Here's a question.
Someone test positive for coronavirus 19 in June with mild symptoms, gets better and continues on with life. In September, this person has a heart attack with a positive Coronavirus 19 test on his record from 3 months prior, is coronavirus responsible for that heart attack? Or stroke? Or whatever?
Blaming one virus for any number of reasons someone could have died is a little ignorant.
I mean, it's not small pox.
A majority of people survive, even more now that early treatments are being done and stupidity is less prevalent now that the initial shock of an unknown disease and what to do to treat it has passed.
In the beginning, people were being isolated with very limited access. Being put on ventilators when we know now that's not the best thing to be doing right away.
And then there's those nursing homes in NYC.
In all of New York State, about 6,300 patients were sent from hospitals into nursing homes, which ultimately registered between 6,600 and 13,000 deaths.
Belgium reported one of the highest covid death rates in Europe, in part because it always included confirmed and probable covid deaths. 50% of excess deaths in Belgium occurred in nursing homes. Of these, only about a third were confirmed by a PCR test. It is possible that some of the non-confirmed nursing home deaths were not due to covid, but due to the extreme circumstances.
In countries like the UK (lockdown) and Sweden (no lockdown), overall mortality since the beginning of the year is in the range of a strong influenza season; in the US, mortality is in the range of the 1957 and 1968 influenza pandemics; in countries like Germany and Austria, overall mortality is in the range of a mild influenza season (but antibody levels are still low).
Looked into these reports. One of them was a woman who got hit by lightning. Definitely vaccine related

I don't consider myself a fan of Bill Gates, and I have problems with the notion of billionaires deciding how humanitarian needs are to be addressed ... but I don't think its entirely fair to say he's done nothing for mankind.

That's one of the kindest ways of saying BULLSHIT I've ever read on the internet.
FTR I agree. To say ole Billy has done nothing to benefit mankind is verrrry likely bullshit, besides being unknowable unless one is omniscient.

Saw some clips of JRE #1582 with Alex Berenson discussing covid.
Interesting episode, I'm about an hour into it, looks like it's 3 hours long.
Topics so far have been median age of death, PCR test, mask, all cause mortality.
Now I'm hearing them going into if it's came from a lab or not, or animal.
First episode of JRE I've listened to on spotify.

Yeah, I have fallen off the Rogan bandwagon. I used to listen often, not so much anymore.
This guy sounds like a Qreacher. I cannot believe Joe would have someone on spouting such conspiracies.

Joe started this episode addressing cannabis and it's potential for abuse.
I've been there and make a conscious effort to use cannabis in moderation.

HamHead said: ...now we have a vaccine and nothing will change. We were sold on this pandemic ending when a vaccine comes out. Now, the goal post have been moved once again, the vaccine isn't enough, we need enough people to be vaccinated to have herd immunity.
And the number of people who need to get vaccinated for herd immunity has gone from 60% to 90%.
How Much Herd Immunity Is Enough? New York Times 24 Dec
Quote:
Scientists initially estimated that 60 to 70 percent of the population needed to acquire resistance to the coronavirus to banish it. Now Dr. Anthony Fauci and others are quietly shifting that number upward. . . . Hard as it may be to hear, he said, he believes that it may take close to 90 percent immunity to bring the virus to a halt — almost as much as is needed to stop a measles outbreak.
Dr. Fauci said that weeks ago, he had hesitated to publicly raise his estimate because many Americans seemed hesitant about vaccines, which they would need to accept almost universally in order for the country to achieve herd immunity.
Now that some polls are showing that many more Americans are ready, even eager, for vaccines, he said he felt he could deliver the tough message that the return to normal might take longer than anticipated.
“When polls said only about half of all Americans would take a vaccine, I was saying herd immunity would take 70 to 75 percent,” Dr. Fauci said. “Then, when newer surveys said 60 percent or more would take it, I thought, ‘I can nudge this up a bit,’ so I went to 80, 85.”
-------------------- I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them. I also attack my side if I think they're wrong. People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.
