He’s spent billions of his own money fighting infectious diseases. You’ve spent your time promoting garbage science and struggling against nearly every public health measure intended to keep Americans from dying of covid.

This is getting ridiculous.
Good fucking luck getting a 2 year old to be compliant wearing a mask. Was he supposed to hold a mask on her face for an entire flight of who knows how long? What if she had started crying had they let them fly?
I'm at a loss for words at how ignorant this world has become.
Science is solid, yet STILL BEING IGNORED.
It has been said for months. Schools should be open. Transmission is low between children and adults.
Especially in a fucking airplane, where there's positive pressure with HEPA filtration.

As soon as teachers get vaccinated, I agree schools should open.

Uh, he has MADE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!!
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/17/bill-gates-says-this-is-the-best-investment-he-has-ever-made.html
"Gates says investing $10 billion in Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance; the Global Fund; and the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, which help deliver drugs to developing countries, has been a rewarding experience because unlike other kinds of investments, they are consistently successful.
Gates says the $10 billion his foundation has put into the three organizations has created an estimated $200 billion in social and economic benefits."
Gee whiz, I wonder why they're so consistently successful? Perhaps, children are born every day and if Bill says they need vaccines, well guess who's heavily invested in vaccines?
Some vaccines, these new Covid19 vaccines included, require multiple doses.

Gates Foundation pledged US$ 750 million to set up Gavi in 1999.
CEPI was conceived in 2015 and formally launched in 2017 at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. It was co-founded and co-funded with US$460 million from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The Wellcome Trust, and a consortium of nations, being Norway, Japan, Germany; to which the European Union (2019) and Britain (2020) subsequently joined.[2][4] CEPI is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.[2][3][4] In 2017, Nature said, "It is by far the largest vaccine development initiative ever against viruses that are potential epidemic threats".[8] In 2020, CEPI was identified by several media outlets as a "key player in the race to develop a vaccine" for coronavirus disease 2019.[3][9][10]

Before I even look I’m gonna bet March 18th is the day the stock market bottomed out
Between March 18th and October 13th, the Dow Jones Industrial average gained 43%. There is nothing unusual about Gates’ net worth rising 20% during that period, considering most of his wealth is invested in the stock market. If anything, he underperformed a well balanced portfolio.

The market bottomed on March 20.
There’s nothing unusual about someone who is heavily invested in stocks to see their net worth rise 20% if the overall market improved 40%. Someone who had half their wealth in the market would see that even if their other assets saw no increase in value.
Hamhead was trying to suggest that Gates has cashed in on the pandemic because his net worth increased. In reality, anyone with stock has seen a modest increase in wealth, but not 40% because the other thing those conveniently selected dates ignore is the huge crash in value that occurred from early February until March 20th

Only hamhead could misinterpret giving away money to mean making a profit.
In the past he's posted studies that specifically said "we do not recommemd HCQ for prophylactic use", and used it as his proof that HCQ should be given for prophylactic use.
You really can't argue with someone who lacks basic comprehension.
I'm not the biggest Gates fan and am not going to praise a billionaire for throwing a small portion of his billions at something so important, but he definitely donated more to getting these vaccines out than anyone else on the planet.

All you sticking up for Gates.
Gates 'failing green revolution in Africa'
"Green revolution is locking African farmers into a system that is not designed for their benefit, but for Northern multinational corporations.
Billions of dollars spent promoting and subsidising commercial seeds and agrichemicals across Africa have failed to fulfill their promises to alleviate hunger and lift small-scale farmers out of poverty, according to a new white paper published by the Tufts University Global Development and Environment Institute.
African and German civil society organisations produced a report based on the research, “False Promises,” calling on governments to stop funding and subsidising the so-called “green revolution” and shift support to programs that help small-scale food producers, particularly women and youth, develop climate-resilient ecologically sustainable farming practices.
The research examines the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), a nonprofit launched by the Bill & Melinda Gates and Rockefeller foundations in 2006 with promises to double yields and incomes for 30 million farming households while cutting food insecurity in half in 20 African countries by 2020."
Quite the humanitarian.

Like i said before what neeeds to be done
- forced vacations if you refuse to take one you can not be in public or work.
- mandatory chipping i think people should be chipped an the data will let them know if they came i to contact with covid or showing symptoms.
More stricked rules limiting how man time you can be out in public in day to minimize contact with covid.
All children get the vaccine so they can go back to school.
