Title says it all .
Anyone here use an inline duct fan on a Martha ?
Im experimenting with some fans to get more FAE .
My current set up is;
a Martha in a closet with a humidifier on an ink bird humidity controller Set at 95% and humidifier with the dial at about 25% on . Any more than this everything gets soaked . heater on an ink bird temp controller at 77 F bathroom vent fan 2pc fans in tent on 24/7 a fan 24/7 in the closet to circulate air .
I removed the doors for the pic below but I usually keep one closed all the way and the other cracked just big enough for exhaust vent.
The 2 pc fans inside my tent are running on high at all times , a bathroom exhaust vent fan set for 3 minutes on / 10 minutes off and vented out of closet .
I’ve had great success with this
the pc fans actually seem to help drive the humidity up pretty high when the humidifier kicks on and they disperse the humidity more evenly.
Last week my fans died (1 years old) so I had the idea to get an 100CFM 4” inline duct fan. I ended up removing it for now for reasons stated below , so I ordered new pc fans . My tent now has just the vent with a hepa filter and some loose poly stuffed behind it , below this is a heater @ 77 F and a fan directed at the poly to help push some air around the closet and into the tent
The duct fan with a 1/2’ venting was a little too much and the draw of outside air didn’t function the same as having the Negative pressure from the pc fans .
I’m thinking the duct fan coupled with the pc fans could be awesome but some experimenting will need to be done before it’s dialed.
current grow got a little stressed out so I’m gonna wait until after 1st flush before I subject them to any more experiments.
My humidity is sitting at 95.6F and barely dropping unless my tent is unzipped on one side-
I’m trying to remedy this -I would like to get it to go up to 97 and drop to 90 without having any extra holes or be unzipped .
I’m thinking of putting the duct fan back but with an added 1.5 foot of ducting added and running it on the dehumidifying loop of my ink bird, coupled with the pc fans this should be really good fresh air recycling.
I had some limited success with fruiting pans and now I’m after a pan cyan canopy this next round so I’m trying something new .
Please share any experiences or thoughts about duct fans on a Martha - thanks in advance ! Below is my current set up - works great with cubes but feel it could be even better -

I use closet flanges to attach hoses to Martha’s.

Those closet flanges are nice .
That’ll be my next move .
I’m leaning towards getting the house of hydro disc digger and setting up a rubber made tote fogged which I’ll connect via flange .
Right now I’m just using a vacuum hose that fits right into the top of my humidifier .
Works but not pretty - a little duct tape and hot glue gun for now.
