Creekbed Mushroom ID Request!!

First of all, it's great to be back! I've been away for some time and it's been freezing cold here too so not many mushrooms! Missed you all!
I found these guys 2 days ago at two rivers state recreation area in Nebraska. It is near the Platte river, which flooded last year. Some of the floodwater, with rain and snowmelt helping, kept some areas very wet and these were found in a very wet creekbed with lots of downed trees.

They are brown, curly stem, very very wet, some were still growing and were attached to a wet dead log.
Thoughts?

I read G. MAGINATA grow mainly in summer to autumn yet it's been about 45 here for a while and still very cold.

Looks like G. marginata to me, it can be found year round if the conditions are right.

Just read that as well in national Audubon society field guide. So Is the distinction between marginata and autumnal is just the tacky VS moist cap?

G. marginata and G. autumnalis are synonymous, i.e. the same species.

It is the substrate it's growing from, the bald cap along with the color of the cap surface, spore deposits on the gills and stem, stem texture and color. I've handled a few so that also is helpful.
