Chitwan, round #2

I took 4.5 grams chitwan dry about 2 weeks ago, and had a very long trip that was enough for me. I decided to try 2.5 grams yesterday afternoon, and got even higher than the first time. The shrooms I took included a bunch of very small fruits, ~1" each, some not nearly ready to tear the veil. My lesson here was that the hallucinogenic content of these tiny ones is about the same as the big ones. My intended 2.5 grams was as strong as ~5 grams. Lesson learned!

Ive been taking mushrooms on and off for 35 years and they still catch me out, brother. What you have to realise, when the veil breaks, the mushroom puts all its energy into spore production, not psychoactive production;,so as they get bigger after the veil breaks they are also getting weaker (gram for gram).
Stay safe, DJ Ed

Better grind all your shrooms to a powder, and then take your doses from this powder. This way the doses are much more precise. Each shroom can vary in potency. Some big ones are weaker than small shrooms, or the other way around.
Never take whole shrooms, mix them all evenly to homogenize the potency.

Good advice, guys. Thanks! Unless I'm making prints, I'll harvest & dry the fruits before the veil breaks.

Or make a tea from each harvest and freeze in ice cube trays; that way, you have long term stocks of FRESH, and you know the exact dose of each “ice cube”. As long as you test the batch, that is: 4 homogenised grams from one flush could be radically stronger or weaker than 4 homogenised grams from the next flush......

Also meant to add, I now have a few agar plates going, so I can isolate some Mazatapec. I believe once you have isolated good genes, the subsequent harvests are more or less homogenised......
