I dont think I can get pereskiopsis in time to graft the way I'd like to. So would it be possible to graft this pea sized albino loph:

To this little tricho:

Probably not, and the seedling should be good for weeks. Wait for the pereskiopsis, it only takes a few days to get some off the web.

As a cactus grafting noob I am curious as to why that is not a good graft stock?

Trichocereus is a good stock when its bigger, and for bigger scions; or when grafting seedlings together when its also seed size. A seed sized scion isn't going to be a good fit for a large or even small Trichoereus stock. Not saying it won't work, but I think the odds of it failing are higher than just waiting the two days to get pereskiopsis stock.

I did have five or so albino peanut cactus grow once, every one of them died when I grafted them, but they were good in their container for weeks.

Look for your local cactus and succulent social media group and ask if anyone has any pereskiopsis.

I prefer grafting to trichocereus over pereskiopsis at all phases of growth.

My main question is if you have any successful grafts under your belt

Welp, I wouldn't be afraid to try to graft to anything.  To err is human, to forgive divine.  I killed plenty of plants to figure out how to graft
