Hey guys I hope you are all doing well and staying safe! I’ve come to realize that this virus is gonna free up so much time that while people are going nuts in their houses I’ll actually have a ton of time to get my agar work going and learn how to actually do it properly lol! But I figured it brighten the mood up with some pics of my gt grow. The actual surface is nearly desolate, but if you put the side pin bois on top you’d have a decent canopy in a few days lol. I hope you all stay safe and healthy!!!!

What’s up with the bottom right corner? Does that happen a lot? Looks bacterial or some kind of infection... we’re not trying to discourage you, just figure out how to improve your work so you don’t get side pins because the surface isn’t favorable to pin growth. You shouldn’t have uncolonized grain on top like that.

I've had tubs like that a couple times, when I didn't pseudo-case and it did that very thing. However, they also became bacterial quickly either before or directly after a first harvest. It's just highly susceptible to contamination with exposed, uncolonized grain. As others have said, that indicates bacteria. Still should be happy about the fruits! At least you'll get to trip and get back in the flow.

Should I wait one more day to let them grow out alittle more or just pick and toss now?

They will grow fine. Wait for them to finish up. Did you spawn your grains as soon as they were colonized or did you give the 5-7 days to consolidate?

I would let them to continue to fruit. If it's just bacteria, you should be fine. The minute I see any indication of anything else (like Trich), I'd immediately take outside and harvest. (only because it's cold where I'm at). Other people have been known to move their tubs to outdoors or another location and fruit to full maturity before picking and dumping the substrate. It may even go for more subsequent flushes, I'd just keep an eye on it.

Pick now, that thing is a time bomb. All the grey areas with uncolonized grains are mold in my opinion. It's starting to turn in the bottom left corner
