That's right before I mixed it. Just how cool it looks scraped out of the jar. Not shook, cause it doesn't shake so it takes way longer to get to 100%. We will see how it flushes. Definitely not my favorite grain so far but it looks cool AF.
Just an experiment.
A.K.A- why not give it a try. Definitely an interesting medium.

I leave all the sunflower seeds in my wbs. I’d assume it works. I’m interested. Wasn’t the last toc tub with the safflower spawn?

I could, I have a huge pile of seeds from skimming the floaters off the top of the wbs bucket soak.
Trippy how much spawn in those? Looks like they’ll be real good and super fast.

1 myco quart to 1.5ish coir. It’s way more vigorous then the purple mystic I’ve been working on.
Might ditch the pm and go all cambo for a few.. also got rw and toc almost ready for grain.

Question guys. At the bottom is a picture of PEU on Oakmulch. I can't decided to case it with Jiffy or let it roll just like this into fruiting. It is already starting to blob.

Good to know, I’m waiting on lpeu to germ and thought it didn’t blob.
That myc looks crazy man but it’s awesome random crap from the yard works as a sub.
I’d case it, looks like it would love something to grow into and I don’t see knots or anything yet.

Putting a little work in before work tonight.
Taking xfers of ghost. Of everything in my grow these are what I’m most excited for. They aren’t giant, hell the exact opposite. Pic is not mine it belongs to the creator Jik Fibs on fb. Ghost and yeti are both mutations of TAT or true albino teachers which he cloned from an albino GT and grew out over the years. Both are pretty sweet looking but just look how fucking cute these are.

I had really poor germination on the ghost swabs and out of like 10 plates and two swabs only one took. I took transfers of it and they all looked like shit. Everyone said bacterial and I should toss. But I believed the agar was soft and nutritious and maybe they where just digging in.
I went ahead and took some xfers anyhow and this is the result, looks like I still have something to work with
This is what I narrowed it down to. Will take 2-4 xfers of each
Ugly plate but liking the myc at 1-3 oclock

I would case it. PE varieties do best with a casing layer. Helps keep that constant surface moisture + evaporation cycle going as long as you mist & fan regularly

A.K.A: don't know if PEU blobs, but there are some weird things going on in this tub.
Fooman: I got some Jiffy I will case it with, I'm out of a bunch of supplies at this point. No more coir, no more Verm.

Demonic, i would also love to see your leather puncher tek/your clear agar tek. I have seen pictures of your plates some time ago, and i remember thinking how nice is the color...

Demonic I had plates just like those first ones of yours where the myc is in the agar mostly and looks like shit.
At t3 it was still doing it so i grained one and it colonized super weird whispy myc. I spawned it and it’s crazy slow.
This is 11 days.
I did finally make harder plates and it looks more normal now cuz it’s staying on the surface, but still super thin.
