Centrifugal fan has arrived (laminar flow build UK)

So I received my blower today, its was very expensive unfortunately but it's the only fan I could find in the uk to match my requirements. I'm waiting on my hepa to arrive which is a h14 mini pleat 454x600x150mm 280pa from jasun filters. I got this fan from axair fans at £200 shipping and vat included next day delivery too. Now I've seen some people ask (myself included) that jasun filter do laminar flow hepa filters which are around 68 to 79mm I think. But the thicker mini pleats are advertised as turbulent flow filters. After asking their production team about this I was told they're only advertised as turbulent flow hepa filters because most of the time they're used to scrub air in clean rooms but if you were to match the right air flow with a fan it would produce laminar flow. So if anyone is hesitant in ordering their thicker mini pleats (150mm) they are suitable for laminar flow hoods as long as you get the right fan with the right fan curve.

I'll post up the build once I get the filter at the end of the month if we aren't on lockdown by then. Yeah I bet it's so much easier with a hood.

Got enough power for that bad boy? It's 230voltz. Might have to move the laundry dryer to use it.

Thank you! No I havent. I plan to sand and clear coat it eventually, but I have no interest in moving it any time soon. I live alone and it weighs a couple hundred pounds when it's all assembled.
