The Peace of The Wild Things by Wendell Berry
When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. I come into the presence of still water. And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light. For a time I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

Tomorrow, when resurrection comes, The heart that is not in love will fail the test. ~ Rumi The day we start giving Love instead of seeking Love, we will have re-written our whole destiny. ~ Swami Chinmayanada Saraswatir

I really liked the last half ,
but I'm a bit selfish and really only care about resolving my own despair. To hell with piss Earth.

Glad you enjoyed some it, haha. And I know what you mean. I think the desire to resolving one's own despair is totally normal and is actually an essential point in the journey. Maybe at some point along the way that changes, or maybe it doesn't. Either way, it's all good. Hope you are doing okay in all the craziness
