Most Profitable Cacti

Wasn't sure where to post this but I'm looking for some advice. I have recently acquired a larger house which has a room i don't use. I have had this idea for a while now but i am really interested in growing some mescalin cacti for profit (sold as garden cuttings). I have more time on my hands and feel like this is a good time to start. I was just wondering out of all the cacti i could chose from: Which can be sold for the most money? Which is the fastest growing? I understand growing cacti takes years and am ready to take on this project. Any advice would be welcome.

An extra room?.. For growing cactus? I hope you mean sun room, because if you're going to use your electric utility to power a grow operation, I'm quite certain that cactus is not going to be a profitable crop to produce indoors. As an aside, given that you bumped your thread only a few hours after creating it, I'm not quite sure that you are fully appreciating the amount of patience that may be required for the type of business you are proposing.
But to answer to your question, I would focus on Trichocereus Pachanoi (aka Echinopsis Pachanoi aka "San Pedro") as a relatively quick growing variety of cacti that usually contains a respectable amount of mescaline alkaloid, even as alkaloid content is likely to vary based on environmental factors.

There is a great solution out there for exactly what you're trying to do. It involves buying seeds (crosses of in-demand genetics) from reputable vendors, then raising them until they're smaller than your thumb (and maybe only half that size). You can do this under T5 fluorescents lights (cheap), and since you're not going to let them get very tall, you can layer them up on shelves.
If you want to get real jiggy, you can then get into micrografting tiny seedlings onto pereskiopsis. Buy the seedling route is the way to go if $ is the object. Maybe 3 - 6 months from sowing to sale? (I don't think that's unrealistic).

I have used Misplant more then a few times with some big 12+ strain orders never had a problem very healthy seeds great packaging just 10/10 amazing vendor. Be sure to check out some shroomery vendors too i have made orders with world seed supply and also had good results.
If you are from Canada then Lophophora williamsii aka peyote is legal to grow and to sell it only becomes illegal once you prepare it for consumption. I use to work in a hydroponics store and we grew and sold them right beside the sales counter seedlings and cuttings under T5 lighting and we also had a 8x8 large grow tent with 1000W HID lighting in the show room for mature peyote and large trichocereus.
You should try it its a fun hobby even if you don't sell them.
Here is a real oldie from when i just started some seeds at home for the first time no idea what im doing. Just kept em in by the large sliding window when it was cold and outside in the spring/summer. Its pretty hard to kill cacti i have grow them in garbage soil/coco/100% perlite/100% sand lol i even had some in rockwool to mess around.

I don't think we are supposed to discuss non shroomery sponsors on the forum although I may be wrong about the rules of this particular subforum.
Why did you go for cacti? Legality I am assuming?
Cacti take years, I thought I might be able to sell some small ones here and there, I have over 75 cacti seedlings some 2 years old, they are barely a few inches tall
I have grown a many mushrooms in the same time period

People get very quick growth using fluorescents. I imagine it's because they provide the brightest light that little seedlings can take without stressing out and slowing growth.
