My jars stink!
This is a first for me, the last 20 brf jars I have done all have the same funk to them and I am getting little to absolutely no growth. I assume this is bacteria meaning I am either messing up the syringe sterilization or the jar sterilization. Worse, there is no obvious contam growth.
Do you think, after a good scrub, that I should soak all my jars/syringe in rubbing alcohol? Or will that degrade the syringe? I lack a pc so have been steam sterilizing. Filled up a new set of jars which I steamed for 3hours so hopefully that does the trick.
Anyone else run into this situation? It smells like the rice is rotting/fermenting. Makes me want to gag and is making the whole grow room stink.

Id just invest in a preerssure cooker if you want to advance in this hobby it is a necessity, you can clean the jars if you want but sometime i trash contam jars so i dont have to deal with the smell
