is this brf cake bacterial?

so i have tried doing a grow a couple of times , every time from agar to grain but i failed every time because at first everything is perfect , but it will stall at the last step like 90% , and turns out its bacterial , so after so many times , this is my last project going from agar to LC and LC to cake(since i heard cakes are easier) now i injected 10cc of LC because the needle wasnt big enough and i had a little trouble getting it into the syringe, but it colonized pretty fast i inoculated this 11 days ago and its already almost colonized also i see some water at the bottom (the bottom is fully colonized) so should i just get the cake out ? or should i wait more? if i fail this time i will lose hope to do this stuff again since i tried so many times so please help me out here (btw the green and blue color stuff is from the plastic itself , it's not inside) https://imgur.com/a/Png7o4S

Iβd agree, youβre fine for now but just monitor it; if the smell turns to a mushroom/fermentation smell then I would begin to worry but keep up the good work!

^^^^ if it smells fine itβs probably not bacteria
if itβs a cake youβre supposed to let them consolidate for a week after they reach 100% colonization. about when did it finish colonizing?

It looks fine to me. It's a little hard to tell based on the pictures, but it doesn't even look discolored. It's not quite fully colonized, right? And that's a plastic tub?
With a cake, just wait until it's totally white and then give it a few more days at a minimum. Even if you see some pinning inside the jar it should be able to fruit okay. Cakes are pretty durable once they're fully colonized.
But yeah, as long as the smell and color are okay, the cake should be okay.
A little bit of water in the bottom shouldn't be a huge problem either. Maybe give it a gentle shake to get the water to the uncolonized portion of the cake; don't break up the cake if you do gently shake it. What's your cake made of? BRF and verm? How much water did you put in the mix?
Also, don't give up! You can just follow a tek (PF Tek) step by step, and things should work out. Jumping straight to agar or grain for your first grow is ambitious. You shouldn't let the failure frustrate you.

thanks for the answer yeah i was mostly worried about the water since i have heard still water will make things rot or contam i used the standard 2:1:1 recipe but i used like 10-15cc less water in the recipe and used 10cc LC yeah i tried to do this perfectly by never touching spore and using agar and stuff but i guess my low equipment and messiness was the problem so far i'll try my best , ty all
