How to store freshies (lemon?)
    #26544110 - 03/19/20 07:59 AM (3 years, 10 months ago)

Any recommendations on the most potent way to store freshies?

Can they be diced up and put in lemon juice (made by putting whole lemons through juicer) then that whole solution be stored in fridge for 4-5 before proceeding?

Will everything stay active in the lemon juice that long?

Or is there a better option?

Thanks!

Putting them in the fridge for short term.

Or making a tea and freezing it for long term.

Thats if you cant dry them.

Lol I did this when I harvested a big batch. Always try and keep some fresh mush because they hit differently. So I boiled them down and put them into mason jars in the fridge. Unfortunately, I filled them too much and the glass completely broke on one of them:lol:

Lesson learned.

Yes lol. Water expands when frozen so plastic containers may be a better choice.
