Cooking with Celery

Fresh celery is one of my least favorite foods in the world. It tastes absolutely digusting to me. I simply cannot stand the taste.
However, cooked celery, such as celery cooked in a stew or soup, is actually one of my favorite foods. Pretty ironic no?
This shows the Power of Cooking and how a nasty bitter plant like celery can be turned into a delicious addition in a dish.
Are you like me who hates fresh celery but loves the cooked version? Whats your favorite way to cook celery?

How are yours coming along? Mine are so tiny, and growing at a snails pace.

Oh, yeah, much to cold for me up there! I started mine indoors, then moved them to the greenhouse. Speaking of which, I need to start re-potting them soon!

Chow Mein
Minnesota chow mein to be exact. It's ground pork and celery cooked and then simmered in an asian gravy served over crunchy noodles and white rice.
