So my PF tek has taken a bad turn. I didn’t know that you should spawn in a dark place. Now my jars are bearing fruit and they aren’t fully colonized. I read that you should take them out and “singe” the substrate. I don’t know what that means. Please help. It’s BIDZ

Throw out what ever Tek your reading to start with. Spawning in the dark is just nonsense it only inhibits your ability to see what your doing.
By single, do you mean burn?
Post a picture so we can see what your working with. You can knock the dry grains off the tops of the jar and add some coir on top. It will eventually fall down the sides of the jar as the cake shrinks but the moisture will help create a place for evaporation and pinning trigger on top.

I don’t know what singe means. I read that here in the forum. I tried to post a picture but I can’t find it in my library. I have verm on top. The top is colonized, it’s the bottom that’s not colonized yet. I’m gonna try to post a picture again. Also, if I open the jar, do I run a risk of contamination? They are pretty close. I’d say another week maybe 10 days and they were going to be completely ready. That’s adding the 5 day’s

How do you know they are contaminated? I'm not going to click the link you added. I don't need to download to view a picture. But if they are pinning you can open and nock off the dry verm and add fresh damp vermiculite and place in a bag and fruit it kit style.

Yeah don’t click that link. I’m not good at navigating this forum. I just meant that I didn’t want to contaminate the cake by taking the lid off before it’s done. Outside contaminates. You’re idea seems like a practical one but I am sure that I would have to find the tek because I probably need more info. I don’t have breathable bags. I already have a shotgun terrarium. Can I just pick out the fruits and just dunk and roll and just continue as if it was fully colonized? Or just wait it out for a few more days and carry on as usual?

If your cake fruits before its fully colonized, you should remove from the jar and carefully remove the uncolonized portion. Then rinse off that side that's exposed.
Usually a cake with stall if the PF mixture is too wet or too dry. The PF Tek is picky about the moisture content of the PF substrate.

Ok. And then prepare my shotgun chamber or put it back in the jar? I feel comfortable about the dampness. I just think tha I packed it too tight

U don't have to put it back in the jar. You can fruit partial/fractured cakes in your SGFC.

Thanks man! I have them in the SGC and there was just a little dip in the tops of most of them. I learned something here.
