"In the wake of the postponement and cancellation of mainstream sports across the nation, U.S. sportsbooks have been forced to expand into different betting markets and take risks with sports and events not necessarily popular with the American sports fan -- sports that might shut down at any minute. Although all casinos in Nevada and many other states are closed, the growth of mobile betting has allowed some books to stay open and take action. Caesars Sportsbook, which is open for mobile betting in Nevada, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, is taking action on Turkish soccer, where you can bet on Kayserispor (+690) vs. Fenerbahce (-340) or a draw (+465)."
Main part of the fun of sports betting to me is following sports one likes, making a educated guess on it, placing a wager, and watching it. I'm not watching this shit.

I made the gigantic mistake of betting on soccer with a Hispanic coworker a few years ago.
Word to the wise: If you don't really follow soccer don't bet with a Mexican.

Yeah, that was a mistake. God I am bored as hell. All the casinos are shut down. No sports being played, no one can be around each other. I miss the adrenaline. Getting cabin fever. Everything is internet and endless t.v. streaming. Endless raining at this time.
Weird thing the rush of winning and losing gambling and those of "drugs", and that high. There are drugs and their are plants and fungi and bark and roots. And beer and pills. I am bored as hell. Everything is closed. What good is money if there is no where to spend it? I am not going to binge eat out of boredom.
Heading to the mountains with beer, a pill, and water. Just tired of being indoors. My cat and I will go live in the mountains in a tent, lol.

I had a professor who was Italian, his brother was ref? for an Italian soccer league. It was so corrupt his brother would give him the scoop and he made good money betting on it. I mostly stick to horses, particular fan of betting on the sulkies, but have an enormously bad habit of parlaying all my bets... which usually means I lose my money, but its fun and pretty cool. Not many places harness race anymore, seems to be dying out.

Think it will come back. In the States so strange being in Portland and they had these betting parlors that were less than the size of a small 7-11. Only race horse and dog betting. But not the major sports here. Of course is the same with everything. Parlays and higher risk and higher reward or higher loss. Made me mad when I did a three game parlay in Vegas on three NBA games and would of won all 3 but the just bet the money line on all of then instead of the spread which they all covered. Is a rush though to take a risk but have always been afraid. Never be on a underdog to by detriment. Brother did and did quite well.
Whatever, America is giving away money now and nothing to bet on but Korean baseball, lol.
Think so much will change in the coming year. Will be interesting. Is boring to watch people on t.v. talk about sports when no one knows if it will happen globally. But as long as I am alive, will experience it with the rest of us.
Time to get married. Don't think my future wife will be OK with gambling but God it was fun. That adrenaline.

I play a lot of poker, or used to before shutdown. I can be pretty aggressive early to get the action flowing, you know lose a grand at the table to loosen everyone up while I tighten up and win 5 large back

Not bad. I am a horrible poker player. You could read me in a heartbeat. But I like it when one puts the money down, risks.
At a casino betting on sports and bet for me and my brother and we both won. Though my bet was done early his had to come down to the end. He likes drama.
And a guy comes up to me saying how sad he was losing a 50 dollar bet while I am cashing in my tickets for over a grand. Why some women is looking at the money with wide eyes in disbelief. Yes one can win a lot of money but risk and reward.
At that time. And I was like, are you serious? I didn't say a word to him and just noticed her but didn't disrespect him or her either. It mean't a lot to him but if one is taking the time to travel and bet just a 50 on a game and complains? DON'T CARE!
In Vegas saw a lot of oriental people with the black chips and just playing not poker but card and table games. Sure they were at the poker tables but I just can't do it. Putting down 100 dollar chips like it was nothing.
Still. Money is a tool. I just want integrity and the only game, though many are fixed but few overall, is sports betting. If you are good at what you do with poker, more power to you. I think I would be done 20 minutes after I sat down to you.
Gambling will never stop nor should it. To each their own. Just a shitty poker player.

I've won enough money (also was black carded (VIP) that I get cashed put behind the counter, and escorted to my car.
There's no excitement if you don't bet big. I always hear only bet what you can afford to lose... fuck that, what am I gonna do with my money when I'm dead

Yeah. I follow that opinion. Don't need showy shit. Seen enough of it in my lifetime. But if one bets heavy, and all depends on the person and income of course, is the way to go.
That brings the thrill, the adrenaline. Whether it be high or low depending on the outcome. Also, know how to take a loss when it happens respectfully. Buddah thing. And when one wins it feels like monopoly money to me. Enjoy it.
