hey guys i know not many people find salvia as a ally...i have had a few experiences and havent enjoyed it that much but there is one simple reason it makes me want to move around. wich kinda completely distracts you i think for getting such a short lesson you need to pay attention closely. last time i got a physical sensation that felt like something pushing on my left leg and also the right side of my head....almost like somthing trying to grab me and flip me upside down. i had to get up and move..i havent done it much and most of the time i have to move wich completely distracts me from whats going on.
The only time moving made sense was 1 time i sat in one room looked down the hall and the other room seemed to be the REAL reality so i got up and ran i HAD to get to this reality when i got in the other room i thought oh shit i might not be able to get back in time and ran back it was funny but the lesson there was dual realities....but that only happened once most of the time its a sensation that i just need to get up and move. With something so short i think staying in place and paying attention is whats needed but so hard to do any one else have this problem? Again i know not alot of people find this plant as a ally (wich is probilly why its still legal cause not alot of people do it!) I had tried chewing leaves for a half hour but nothing happened i tried making a tincture but couldnt hold 190 proof alcohol in my mouth that long it burns....any advice would be appreciated. I think all these plants can teach us things so i feel its worth a shot if you can sit still i just cant do it!

smoke half the amount that is making you wander, and if that is still too much smoke half that.

yeh its weird tho even low doses i can get this sensation in my legs where it feels like something is pushing me to get and move...even where there is barely and CEV...i was actually wondering if its one of those things i might need the opposite and need more maybe if i am fully in that realm i wont feel the need to wonder but of course that could totally back fire

I think that if you are patient with salvia, and work with it slowly but consistently, over time you may find yourself less inclined to move around. You kind of have to get your 'salvia-legs' so to speak.
Keeping your eyes closed may also be beneficial.
I don't know if chewing leaves would eliminate the feeling of the need to move around or not, but IME that method is much less topsy-turvy than smoking. So *maybe* if you got it to work for you, it would be easier to stay seated. If you have some plain leaf and want to try again, I suggest rehydrating and making 4 1-gram balls. Start by chewing either 1 or 2g. Chew constantly and swish the liquid once liquified. If you feel nothing by 15min, spit it out and try another 1 or 2g.

Thanks man yeh going to try and get more plain leaf and give that a go again...seems you would get more out of a longer experience...smoking i wont give up on cause i think your right maybe i just need "training" to do this right get more comfortable with it and just use discipline to force myself to stay still and maybe in time that will get easier and i can pay more attention to what goes on.
