Oh they get massive. I've seen pics of fields in Mexico with rows and rows of them all well over 6 foot tall. No thanks. They do produce little "pups" like an aloe plant does, so I have 2 babies in 1 gallon pots. Only a matter of time before they get too big for the house as well

Waiting for the weather to warm up so I can get this big bitch back outside. Weber Blue Agave I got about 3 years ago. Same variety that tequila is made from.
Winters are too cold here in Colorado to keep it outside. It's so big now I can't really get it through a doorway with risk of fucking it up, or poking my eye out. The thorns on this guy are no fucking joke!
Awesome man! Mine all look like crap from being indoors! I have never seen an agave get etiolated before, but mine sure did!
Mine are the Century plant agave. I had a 7 footer back when I lived in a more suitable area, and before I moved I took some pups, from which I still have to this day.
I sure miss that big old boy

7ft?! I can't imagine. Was it planted in the ground? I'd love to keep mine past this summer, but I don't have the room either.
I think the blue webber is the same as a century plant? There is a lot of confusion it seems on certain agave varieties.
I always joke that in maybe 50-60 more years my agave will be mature enough to get me a quart of tequila. But probably not

Yes, it was in the ground. I just scrolled past my old house on google maps, and the previous owners got rid of it sadly
I know nothing about Agave's, but mine looks exactly like yours.
good luck on that tequila buddy

These are some orchids. I have many varieties the bulk majority have not given me flowers. Native to zone NY (zone 7) <_ nyc.gov PDF Here is a list of most of the native plants in my garden Showy orchid Galearis spectabilis
Nodding ladies’-tresses: Spiranthes cernua
Rose pogonia : Pogonia ophioglossoides www.jpg" target="_blank"> </a> (weird cant fix this photo)
Rattlesnake Plantain :Goodyera repens

*These are not mine I found these while lugging a beer cooler back up a hill. I haven't ID them but they must be orchids. Sorry the shots of them are embarrassingly bad. I have also found Pink lady slippers here on the Island. * i would never consider removing plant or even seeds from their environment.

Holy crap man, where to begin!
I can't believe that you are growing all this in zone 7? Freaking Amazing!
So, what kind of fish can be caught in that water? And are there fish in your home made pond?
Also, are those crocus sativus flowers that I see?
Dude, I'd have to say that you have it made in the shade! I'd kill for a yard that looks like that! You have the kind of yard that dreams are made of
Oh, and You are most certainly welcome!
I can't wait to see more!!!!!!!

Dang man, lucky you!
I have caught all those fish that you've mentioned, but a black fish. I have never heard of that one before.
Wow, so the Hurricane did that eh? I hate hurricanes with a passion! Been through a couple in my time.
And I was wondering about that black flower, it's bad @ss!
And I just knew that that was Lavender, what a massive spread!!!
Thanks for taking the time to name them all You have some very unique plants growing my man

The leaves—they have a wonderful marshmallowy-vanilla taste. Really good with berries, steeped into creamy/fatty things, sweet potatoes, pastries, etc. Stems can be dried and powdered as well, they’re a bit tough to eat raw imo.

I planted this Norfolk pine about five years ago. I remember it being about knee height at the time, now it towers above me.
