So I am going to be using WBS. I have seen several teks on WBS, but the tek threads are old and I am trying to avoid out dated info.
Does anyone know of a current modern WBS tek that I can follow for success?

I load wbs into a 5 gallon nylon mesh paint bag and bucket. Rinse til water clears up. Dump boiling water into bucket let sit 12-24. Lift bag and let drain for an hour. Load jars and pc 90 @15-17 psi.
Alternatively i prefer millet. Rinse in nylon bag. Load jars with 250-300ml of seed with 150-170ml water in each jar. [Lower end for G2G] PC @ 15-17psi for 75 mins.
You will have to bang up the jars after the PC is done and hits 0 but a small price to pay for a soakless and simmerless method.

As far as I know there’s no need to soak. Do a 45 minute boil on medium until you see 1 or 2 burst grains and dry, 4hr min and overnight max. If you go overnight put some paper towels over your colanders. If possible use a bread tray with aluminum screening affixed to it. Check my gallery for an example of an optimal grain strain.

Foomans is the gold standard.
I'm starting to do all my grains very similar. Get water to rolling boil, add grains and let hard boil for 10 mins. Drain and let air dry till they don't stick to your hand. Let the steam evaporate excess moisture. I lay my grains out of a drying table so there is more surface area to dissipate heat.

experiment with any tek. the all work with some tweaking. If you work 40+ hours a week this is how i do it. takes 4 days to knock up jars
I soak for 8-16 hours inside a mesh bag.(afternoon or night after work) wake up rinse grain. Let the bag drain while at work ( 10 hours or so) load up jars and pc next day knock up jars

I am lazy. I look for the easiest/fastest way to complete a task. This is Fooman's wbs prep.
Boil water. Turn off heat. Add wbs, wait one hr. Rinse wbs. Quick shake dry in colander. Load jars, PC
Go from zero to PCing in about an hr.

I like foomans, but I don't rinse with cold water or drain in a strainer for a long time. I prefer to do an even level steam dry. Lay em out let the steam evaporate and you have less excess water in your jars.
