They look a little stressed with maybe some bacterial contamination.

But they may still work out to some extent anyhow.

I think they're all bacterial AF.

Walk us through your inoculation procedures, please.

If I had to take a wild guess, those jars were shot up with spore solution from a syringe.

What could be causing stress? Cutting them open right now to inspect/smell. Anything I should look for?

Sweet/sour is a no go. Ice cream consistency is a clear sign of bacteria.

All three jars were inoculated on three different says, they're all the same genome. Were spawned from rye seed jars, in a glove box. How can I know if they're contaminated? Willing to cull them right now to find out, as I've got other jars from the same batches.

Mycelium gets thick and marshmallow looking when its stressed
from contamination. And they'll have a sweet/sour smell from it.
Doesn't mean they won't give you some fruits though.

I switched to a lager drill bit a while back, and I'm thinking that this may be the culprit for the contaminations.

How does this compare with the vent holes in your jars?

Those are quite large holes but probably aren't the culprit.
I use 4 holes that are each from a 1/8 inch drill bit.
Are you using synthetic filter disks in your lid setup also?

I'm not using any filter disks. just two layers of tinfoil over the tops of jars.

The first two jars have been fully colonized for over 2 weeks. The yellow spots haven't always been there.

Anyone have any examples of what a healthy jar should look like? I'm not sure anymore..

Tin foil over your jar is insufficient. It's like trying to stop
a mosquito with a barb wire fence. My bet is that is where your contamination
is coming from. I suggest getting some synthetic filter disks
and using them in your future endeavors.
