not sure it's advisable to be telling people to culture and eat their own bacteria
I'm no expert.
my understanding is that once the right bacteria are in there, the intestines serve as a great growth medium and you just keep feeding them and they will multiply. I'm not sure why people think you need to keep eating the bacteria over and over.

I also consider myself a beginner in the span of 3-4 years of practice after switching, fermentation has been present for a long time. from my understanding speaking of soil diversity and balance, as a natural farmer we feed it with good diversity to heal and regain its balance as we omit synthetic regime while following the nutritive cycle theory later on.
same as how the gut loses its balance from time to time, specially during this modern days(junk we eat). add to it, the way how we grow and eat our food from the past decades to this day.
most farmers here in SEA as well in the other parts like Hawaii after being informed are switching to new(ancient) sustainable approach. heal & feed the soil(gut) first with local diversity. while boosters & vitamins can be given to the to plants or livestock while following the nutritive cycle.
Quote from a fellow:
Quote:
Microbes in the human stomach have been studied extensively for the past 15 years, but still, not much is known about the interactions between microbes and plants.” Isn't it odd how we humans will guzzle gallons of pro-biotic yoghurt and kombucha when we are told of the importance of maintaining a healthy gut – but as a culture we continue to support agricultural practices which kill off the soil biome with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and chemical fertilisers. It seems that science is only just catching up to what Natural Farmers have known for many years. But hopefully that will mean that more people will soon make the connection between the health of humanity and that of our soils.

Made by bees, but be wary that majority on the shelves aren't authentic.
2-3 tbps of honey is Good Honey contains good LABS and yeast with diversed vitamins & mineral according to the qualities of the nectar and the pollen.
Milk and honey are both complete healthy food. honey for adults to old age; and milk for babes. While it is not good for a babe to take honey, equally and scientifically, it is not good for the adult to subsist in milk.(PROVERBS 25:16,PROVERBS 24:13)
NOTE: unfortunately the majority fakes it for profit.

For a non-COVID diversion into another field of medicine still related to this thread (because immunity often starts in the gut) look into Fecal Transplanting.
Yes, its what it sounds like: introduction of healthy bowel flora in people with unhealthy bowel flora.
