Just wondering if this is turkey tail. Was gonna try taking a sample and putting in agar, good our bad idea?

I don’t think so. Turkey Tail is supposed to have small holes on the underside, not gills or teeth like the ones you have there.

They look like turkey tails to me. They do have pores, so I'm not sure what Shroomsalot means. They look pretty dirty though, good luck getting a clean sample to put on agar.

Appears to be Trametes ochracea.

Looks like turkey tail. A bit old though. Fresh (newer growth) should be bright white on the underside.

I’m not convinced. Unless you have more fungi to show it only has brown colors on the cap. Based on the picture provided it looks like Trametes Versicolor, or classic turkey tail. I’m no pro though, just saying what I see after cross referencing.

I don’t trust myself to identify it
