Please help me work out what this is.

Hi, first timer here. My BRF cake sporulated early all over my other cakes in the shotgun chamber. Now, those cakes have a fluffy white potential contamination where the spores landed. Is this trichoderma? If so, can I rescue the contaminated cakes somehow? They haven't fruited yet and it seems like it's only on the vermiculite coating.

Second question - is there any need to replace perlite that has been (heavily) sporulated? I can't imagine spores could cause contamination, but the photos seem to suggest they can.

Thanks for your help.

I have no idea.... however all those spore droppings probably are not helping.... maybe if you harvested do a 12 hour dunk to get them cleaned off and get a better look then? Hard to tell what’s going on from the photos.... sometimes having camera a little bit away and then editing photo and zooming in can help clear things up and add extra clarity.

Thanks. Any point in harvesting that fruit so long after they've dumped their load? It's been about three days because I've been away.
