Using Touch n' Foam sealant for fruiting chamber
    #2653777 - 05/08/04 02:53 PM (19 years, 10 months ago)

Needed to make the lid fit more tightly around the fruiting chamber so i picked up some quick dry Touch n' Foam sealant to use on the edges of the container and lid.

-Would this be in any way harmful to the crop?
-Even after its dried, would water moisture that has condensated on the sealant foam be harmful to the crop?

Thanks

As far as I know that stuff is waterproof when it is totally dry. If your still in doubt, just seal off the leakpoints on the outside of the chamber.

Weather stripping works well and is not as messy as that foaming stuff. I think it will work just fine, but I still think weather stripping is probably a better alternative.
