Hey I need some advice. Probably going to be a long story. My bro and I have been picking a bit latley. Trying to stock up while the conditions are perfect. I've had a few trips over the years but am fairly new to picking, identification and drying procedures.we had some massive hauls lately most of which my bro has taken to his place and used a food dehydrator to get them cracker dry within 24 hours. But the other day i decided to give drying a go.i had about 300g wet layed out on newspaper and had a fan on them over night probably about 12 hours. We had some pretty warm weather and I thought the drying process was going great so far so i left them another night.the next day i thought they were all good and ready to store so weighed them and put them in a glass container. They were fairly crispy but not cracker dry as I now have learnt. Anyway the next day about 9am i weighed up 0.25 to start my first microdose all went well i had a great day. I then had two days off and on the fourth day weighed 0.25 for my next microdose. This time about half an hour later my stomach felt off and I spent and hour or so on the toilet with cramps and diarrhoea. Anyway I had an appointment which I reluctantly went to as was feeling a bit off. The diarrhoea had stopped but stomach felt really off all day. I did feel the calming effects of the dose but much less than 4 days prior as the physical illness feel as if it overpowered it. Anyway that was last Thursday (5 days ago) no more diarrhoea since but ive had some other symptoms I'm trying to work out if they are related. Ive had Headaches most days on and off not too bad but unconfortable enough to take paracetamol.i went for another successful pick yesterday but at times i got light headed and felt like i was going to faint.i have Felt a bit tired and fatigue at times and now over the last 2 days a tight feeling in my chest and shortness of breath and still headaches. There are many possibilitys as corona virus is going around at the moment I haven't been in contact with anyone who has it nor have I ever travelled overseas. I quit smoking cigarettes and heavy cannabis use 3 weeks ago so could be some withdrawal symptoms, lungs detoxing from that. After a bit of research I realised how leaving the mushrooms out in the open under the fan for a couple days could invite bacteria/Mold and possibly get me sick so won't be doing that again. I've ordered a dehydrator now.anyway if anyone has any advice or person experience in this would be greatly appreciated and what the chances are that this got me unwell. I'm feeling ok just not my usual self and shortness of breath isn't something ive encountered before and is quite uncomfortable especially when I suffer from pretty bad anxiety hence giving microdosing a go. Sorry for the novel. Thanks heaps . ✌❤

I think you have a virus or something, but I have had mushrooms give me the shits. once you get them as dry as possible with the fan put them in a paper bag inside the refrigerator and they will dry completely. If you are storing in a glass jar, put about 2 inches of flour in the jar and put the mushrooms in a paper bag preferably or plastic bag and seal the bag as best as you can and place it on the flour, the flour will act as a desiccant, rice works great with less mess.

I'd say a mild food poisoning is as likely as a virus.
High temperatures combined with semi-dry mushrooms in a jar sounds to me like a good chance for bacterial growth.
