Hey guys, Im about to kick someone in the balls. I used Etcher to flash tails to my USB, but now I need to disable secure boot in order to change my OS to tails. Seriously, someone please give me a hand. I cant believe how long this has taken me, ive been working on this one step for about 3 hours now.
Ill give quick replies, I just need a hand getting tails to be my OS. Thank you.
Im supposed to be able to access UEFI Firmware settings, but its not available. From what I read, there are ways still get to those settings but I cant figure it out.

I have a similar kind of set-up. My motherboard is a MSI Z370-A Pro, and the whole thing about changing settings to install a different OS.. uh, I think you have to find where you can click and change Uefi to "CSM" and make sure "Legacy" is enabled in Boot as well. Sorry if this does not help you, but I hope it does. It is something I must do if I wish to reinstall Windows 10, or install another OS. I'm assuming you know that you're supposed to go into the Bios to be able to change these settings by repeatedly pressing F11 or Del as soon as you power on the computer. If everything fails, I'd suggest pressing F6 (Load Optimized Default settings) while in the Bios, and then trying F11/Del when you power on the computer. That should give you the option to select your Usb with the operating system, assuming you have correctly created the bootable USB using Universal USB Installer or some other reliable program.

what kind of pc do you have?
You need to enter your bios menu to change these settings. It is likely you need to press something like esc, f2, f10, or f12 during the start up screen when it displays the manufacturer of your laptop or computer.
Did you try this yet?

I have a Lenovo thinkpad. The model number is NOT on the bottom so I can’t look it up or find the model number anywhere. The start up is so fast I can’t get the F keys punched in, its dumb. I’m trying to make an order before I’m quarantined . Getting quite aggravated with it too. I have Tor on but that’s not good enough.

1. Click windows button and type in search bar 'command'
2. Right click command prompt and open as administrator.
3. copy and paste this " shutdown.exe /r /o "
This will take you to the recovery/advanced start up screen.
4. Click "Troubleshoot" 5. Click "Advanced Options" 6. Click UEFI/Firmware settings.
You should just be able to toggle the "enable secure boot" option off from there.
