Some dickheads I know ingested this species of mushroom.

I am 90% it’s not an active but I have no idea what they are.

A quick confirmed ID would be greatly appreciated.

Marasmius oreades.  Edible, but tell them to cook it next time, they are better that way.

I’ll keep trying to tell them not to eat random things off the ground, but I don’t think they’ll listen.

glad this resolved ok.

but people in Tasmania have been hospitalised and lost kidneys from eating the wrong species, so caution is always advised.
