1 week after inoculation, no visible mycelium

As the title says, I inoculated some jars pf Tek style a little over a week ago, no visible growth yet that I see. Maybe the one pictured left shows something?? Temp is probably 75F on average, holes notcovered with tape. PF classic strain Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the prompt reply. Last time it took this long it was my first grow and I left the tape on. I should add it was 2cc each jar and waited about 18 hours from sterilizing them before inoculating

Yeah spores can take up to 3 weeks sometimes in this situation
just hang in there

How long did you wait for the jars to cool after PC or steam bath before Inoculation?

My friend did a multi spore run recently. Took him 15 days before he started to see growth.

This is an important piece of info. Even though a jar may have cooled enough to where you can touch it without burning yourself, if it's still warm, then the contents inside are still very hot. Too hot for a spore to remain viable.

OP posted 18hrs after, probably fine. I waited 2 days after injected and see nothing after a month, gonna depend on the spores you get too.

Did you make sure to press the needle against the side of the jar during inoculation? Because, if you didn’t, you may have growth just not visible yet. Also, make sure to shake your syringes very well before inoculation to distribute the spores evenly. And don’t use over 1cc per jar, since you may screw up the moisture content, but shouldn’t w/ only 2cc. Temps sounds fine, time between “sterilization” and inoculation sounds fine. Are you running 12/12 indirect lighting? That will help speed up colonization a bit as well.

Sorry for late response guys, dealing with Corona virus garbage, schools closed, etc. I did press the needle against the side. I'm thinking they're weaker syringes, got them from spore trade. I waited nearly a day after sterilizing, unlike my first grow where I waited an hour and it took a couple weeks to show signs. I did just try a couple more jars yesterday, this time with 5cc each, since I think these syringes are weak. I waited about 5 hours after sterilizing this time.
Should they be getting any light? Currently I have them behind a box in top shelf of closet. The light in there is incandescent. Where I fruit has daylight spectrum. I'll post some pics soon.. I think maybe one jar of a couple weeks ago is barely showing life.

Attached are some pics, the first I feel like might show the most hope. Each image I show what I feel is barely something.. but maybe wishful thinking

I think that I see what you are seeing. I presume that you have presented one of the inoculation points. It is very early, but maybe . I think that you will find out pretty soon.

You can throw off your moisture content by adding too much MS solution. Not likely with that little though. Give them time, and we’ll find out. They should be getting indirect 12/12 lighting throughout colonization then direct 12/12 during fruiting. What temps are you colonizing at? 74 F is about ideal.

So is about 12 hours of incandescent fine or should I use my daylight spectrum for it? Avg temp is about 74-75, I leave the closet door cracked open

I use a 6500K bulb just like I do for fruiting.

Gotcha. I had been using 5000K in previous 2 grows so I'll just use those instead and leave them on every night

Make sure that your lights are on the same 12/12 schedule as far as mycelium growth and fruiting. Circadian rhythm and all.

Curious: - what is the longest I should wait before disposing of the jars? I'm reading old threads about some taking 2 months! - I'm seeing in old threads some people would turn the jars upside down when they stalled. Is that a deprecated practice now?
I'm considering wrapping their sides in small rags to see if the additional heat helps
