Anyone try these flowhoods?

Just cruising AliExpress and came across these flowhoods and wondering if anyone has had any experience with them? Claims it filters 99.9% with 3micron filtration. Seems sketchy. But figured I'd see if anyone has had any experience with em.

Same idea as one from my understanding anyway haha. Kinda hoping someone had bit the bullet on one and can either vouch for it or trash it lol. Because if it does work like a flow hood and can perform decently it'd be a cheap handy little thing to have around to play with haha

It does have a hepa filter but I doubt itβs of a preferable grade or quality for our uses. More like a home air purifier filter.

Well plenty of people including a couple TC's use shmuvboxes and those are just cheap home hepas. So in that regard it probably would work just fine.
However, the size on that thing equates to something like 8x12 inches, right? Seems a little small to do anything other than a plate or two at a time...
Also, is the flow coming down at and angle? seems less than ideal..

Yeah if it does the job thats a win in my books. Im in the market for a flow hood so always interested in seeing what others are using. Yeah 8x12 inches isn't a very ideal work space.

Yeah it's tiny. But for just a hobby and not for some major runs it could be decent I would assume if in fact the performance was up to par. Plus it being so cheap you could put a few side by side haha. But all that's just theory. Hopefully someone has tried em and can contest if they're decent or trash haha

Wouldn't be too bad for small stuff using pasty plates I would assume lol. They have bigger ones in there that are the typical 24"x 48" but they're all pretty much the same specs and whatnot. Just curious if anyone had tried em from there or not haha.

you want a laminar flow, if you're gonna spend money on something useful don't get cheap and go through Ali, just my 2 cents

I agree! Lol. Just curious if anyone had any experience with Ali and the units they provide lol. With that said I'm usually the type of person if I can make it myself I'll usually go that route anyway lol. But always looking for affordable options as well as design inspiration's.
