What is the likelihood of jars dumped outside producing fruit?

Hey guys, noob herem I'm sure this has been asked thousands of times.. sorry.
Just started my first grow, waiting on the jars to colonize. As I can do nothing but wait and worry I wasn't sterile enough and will get contam.. I'm wondering what the chances of a contamed jar being dumped outside has to fruit.
I have access to horse shit, so was considering collecting a small pile of horse dung and compost about 100 ft away from my house in the woods and just dumping (carefully) any contamed jars in there. I know it's a "crap shoot" har har.. but is there like a 1% chance of the fruit we want coming up? Or even less? Is it such an unlikely occurrence for them to fruit that one should just toss them and not even open them outside and expose yourself to the invasive spores?

in my experience, contams jars ahve never fruited. Besides, If i get contams, I just throw the jar out without opening it now adays. I have so many. I am also concerned about bringing a contam opened empty jar into my area as I do not want the contam to stick to my walls, clothes, etc

You can bake them to kill the contam or re pc them or at least bleach the the jar or peroxide/vinegar something. IF you wet it before you dump it then the spores wont go everywhere just shoot some bleach in there through injection port. The contams will usually not thrive outside just in the dam jar with myc i got a Lil pile out side and its got myc growing in it for sure contams are gone. If you just throwing the jar away it gets opened somewhere a squirt of bleach in it coouldnt hurt prior to tossing it away. When the trash gets picked up the jar breaks inside when they smash it unleashing those spore all over your neighborhood? as the truck drives away.

Im not sure of the success of that but I would at least cut away the infected parts and just plant the good parts of the jars under the ground. U might get lucky. Worth a try if you live in the right climate

I have been putting my contams, failures, stuff I dropped during g2g, etc in a big horse shit pile for a few months now. I figured I would let the mycelium and any contams duke it out in the wild. I finally got a mushroom to grow; found it a couple days ago. I also dump the water from my substrate dunks on the pile. I think I'm gonna start a new pile since the first one definitely has some mycelium growing in it now.

Just take a fresh colonized jar, or contamed and add it hpoo pile or get an lc and squirt in there or shove a mushroom in there and see what happens. Outdoor grows are nice just look up a tek most of the time they pasturize the poo. Oh when i said lil pile I mean 3ft widex5ftlongx4-6in deep lol I've had some nice growth to and I'm gonna buy some poo and throw so coir down and rake out to double its size lol i hit it with 30mls of pan cyan lc. Yeah even the dunk water is a good idea I hate wasting anything is hobby its a labor of love for sure!! my pile is a lil corner to which helps with microclimate and I can water it 2x a day, Now to get my wood lover patch started and I'll be happy!!

First I took the contaminated tubs outside and threw them into a bucket and made a big mycelium brick using some unsterile poo. Then I just crumbled it to more unsterile poo in a tarp and would throw some water on it to keep it moist. I fruited one of these bricks directly tho and got 52 grams but it had a big place of trich sporulating on it by the time it was threw.

or you could just dump your sub out on bare ground in a cool damp spot where it won't dry out.

Spent cakes get buried. I cover with coir/verm if I have it leftover, or just potting soil if I dont. They get watered frequently. Usually will get 2 or more decent flushes out of them. They like the outdoors.

What is it with burying the cakes in dirt? That just seems ignert and counterproductive. Bury in horse poo ffs.

Put the feed bag on both ends
If I lived on a farm, I would grow so much outdoor cubenis and pan cyans

Well I get mine from a pasture up the road where they got free roaming grass fed horses. I'll ride up there and just hand pick the best ones it's great to have all that good substrate just laying around. Also It's been my spot to trip forever. There's a big pine tree I like to sit in. Very peaceful.

I literally dig a hole in a planter and cover it with what was in the planter. It keeps the sub from drying out and being eaten immediately. Also it works . I have a working theory that the soil microbiota is key in keeping trich at bay.
