EXTREME Underpinning - Help! 1

Guys, in the process of birthing some jars, I broke one open, shattered glass everywhere, so I thought, I'll just put this little dude in his own unmodified shoebox just in case he contams.
So a week goes by, not a lot going on, start seeing brown dots on the sides of the container, more on the bottom. I'm thinking I guess it was contam'd, here comes the metabolites.
I go to take a look today and I realize what I thought was rampant infection is nearly complete coverage of pins on the underside of this container. I'm honestly flabbergasted. It's sitting on top of a minifridge, and the metal on top is cool. I'm wondering - is the substrate contracting and the difference between the heat of the sub and the coolness of the metal leading to a moist humid climate leading to insane pinning?
What do I even do now? Flip the sub? Let it ride out? Theres not much going on on top.

I would definitely flip it, but make sure to keep the conditions good.
I had this happen a couple times and put the sub into a hc and it worked fine.

I really want to see what happens with this after you flip it, you've got tons of pins!

Honestly, the whole thing makes my skin crawl, it looks like a maggot infestation.
Concerns with 1) pins looking pretty smooshed 2) hoping the area that isn't colonized isn't a nidus for future contamination.
I'll keep ya'll updated. Thanks for the quick responses.

Things are waking up, but they're a lil squiggly. They're treasure coast.

100% agree with the air comments, unmodified shoebox, but now that I'm quarantined, this is my full time job. Fanning *a lot*.

You know how people always say aborts are the most potent, I'll just scrape the surface of all those lil buggers that don't grow and make some blast off tea.

Yeah aborts are legit. Those purple aborts have a high potency due to their compact size.

The first flush is done. It was adequate. I'm imagining the next round will be a bit better. But good to know that even if they're smooshed to hell, you can still get something out of them.

Nicely done!
I recently flipped a couple of shoeboxes. My cakes bent and waned a little bit during the flipping process. Was your cake able to take a little beating? Iβm hoping I didnβt rough mine up too much.

Pinning on surfaces other than the exposed part of the tub indicates that your surface conditions arenβt adequate. Do a few more boxes to get to a point where you can maintain proper surface conditions.
