The house passed a bill tonight mandating emergency paid sick leave for people who need to quarantine, are sick or need to stay home to take care of children who are home from school. I believe it is 14 days. Also in the bill is a provision for free covid-19 testing. Trump tweeted his support for the bill. Unfortunately the senate was recessed by Mitch McConnel so they will not be able to vote on it for a few days.

Yeah I was just thinking about that. The lost tax revenue and increased spending is going to blow the deficit up to ridiculous levels. The financial mismanagement of the Trump administration is criminal. Exploding deficits during an economic boom is reckless and leaves no cushion for events like this.
