It's going to be real trouble for people with every kind of health emergency. Appendixes aren't going to stop bursting, heart attacks and strokes won't stop happening... acute injuries, etc. Boston Hospitals ER's are already a war zone.

My power went out like an hour ago. I uh oh'd pretty hard. Came back on like a minute later though. I have over 70g of water always just because I get 5g jugs delivered and it's easier to only do it every few months, would suck if I couldn't use the stove though. Might pick up some extra propane for the grill, don't want to get carried away though. If things get really bad all you're really doing is hoarding stuff for the dudes with the most guns to come take from you

Guys, a few weeks ago I had a cold that attacked the nose, that sort of lingered with me in subdued form, there's a bit of coughing and chest discomfort, on my shopping run a bit of cold sweat, all this 4 weeks after the onset..
I have something that, according to the rules issued in my province should make me self-quarantine until it goes away.
I been in a kinda denial about it but, umm, I may actually have one of those very mild cases of it.
If thats the case, hooray, because its lingered too long for it to get bad. The worst is behind me.
I have no fever and no known link to risk people so I won't get tested, so I won't bother getting tested in the environment that are our Code Red hospitals, I won't obstruct any channels and instead start digging into my arsenal of home remedies I have at my disposal.
If I got it And I got it mild And I get over it A degree of immunity can be reasonably expected to ensue. If thats the case I thank God for having it, like this, now.
So, let's do this!

I woke up coughing with a tickle in my throat. My eyes and nose are crusted over. Hopefully it’s just allergies. The pollen is through the roof. Yesterday this swamp water was painted yellow from the pollen

Generators are still easy to get. You can get a hand pump for your well too. The hardest part (digging and reinforcing the hole) is already done.
Most "colds" are "coronavirus" and always have been.

Until this calms down the amount of psychosomatic angst is going to be unparalleled. Everyone I talk to lately is convinced they have it because they sneezed or their neck hurts.
Better for everyone to just assume they have it and act accordingly, waiting it out at home and only hitting the hospital if it gets serious and they meet the criteria

I’m gonna think it allergies until I can’t. I can barely see my eyes are so irritated right now. Time to pop a Benadryl

Europe has been declared the epicenter of the pandemic now, and no longer China.
And YOU, America, are going to be next when the realistic figures become known. You guys almost never tested an up until now have been taking measures like its climate change

I'm still honestly thinking I had it, and it didn't kill me. It felt like a head cold or a flu. Many people won't even get respiratory symptoms.
Its the humans I've been more concerned about from the beginning. Most of the major issues are being caused by our fears over all this. Besides, stress weakens your immune system and will make you more likely to get sick, so...

I expect every American to make their little part of America, great again, by effecting the CHANGE that presidents cannot bring but, Yes, YOU Can!
Be like Noah, make your home the Ark for your family to weather the storm, tell the people to do the same, and leave it to them whether to heed it or dismiss it.
Its as simple as this. You have responsibility over yourself, you can help those who will listen, those who won't, good luck to them.

looks like most new cases in Canada are still linked to travel outside the country. hopefully people who have been exposed continue to isolate themselves. I'm thinking we might have enough time until more tests are available so maybe we can drastically reduce the spread of this.
but idk they arent even testing Trudeau even though his wife has it lol the criteria for testing is way too narrow. only people with synptoms get tested but as we know someone can be contagious for 14 days without showing synptoms. We need to be doing what South Korea is doing until a vaccine is available.

That's like telling the aryans, bloods, crips and mexican mafia to all work together to break out of the supermax at this point
The problem is that many of those who don't listen or don't care are the ones making the decisions or on the local level are the ones with all the guns. I got plenty of supplies, but if it ever got bad enough that I desperately needed them there sure as hell would be people out there far more desperate, and better armed

Good thing I ride an Ebike for transportation.
The sheep will be coming for Fuel for their automobiles soon.
If we restrict travel commercially all local gas stations will run out within hours.
