How does this eryngii grain look?
    #26532434 - 03/13/20 10:15 AM (3 years, 10 months ago)

I used a 7 y.o. (refrigerated) eryngii syringe to make an agar culture, and from that made a new LC syringe, then grain culture, started on 2'18'20. I'm going to shake this up, then do grain2grain to make 3 or 4 additional grain jars, then inoc pasteurized straw outdoors.
I'd appreciate comments on this plan. Is this LC worth offering in the marketplace?
Thanks!

Colonization is really long for that small container, I would suspect bäcterial.

Agree, that is a very long time.  I would put your new LC on agar first and see before trading.

I'm not going to let any go anyway, but I want to see what this does in a small bag of chopped, pasteurized straw. It's more a matter of curiosity.

Kings are quite aggressive, if it's bacteria the fungus will probably eat it :crazy2:

...but I wouldn't G2G it

Yep--agar's always a good idea. This actually was made from an agar culture that looked pretty normal, but I have a LC of pl djamour that just came in, so I'll be working with that anyway.
