Operation Deep Forest - Emergency Action Plan

So Im developing a last-minute Emergency Action Plan in case things concerning the Coronavirus-19 get out of control.
My plan is to travel to deep in the forest, live on National Forest land and survive on canned/dried foods with lots of water.
Besides fuel, water, food, clothing, TP, towels, blankets, what else should I bring in this Emergency Plan? What would you bring with you?

Unless you're stockpiling a location far in advance you'd run out of food and fuel fairly quickly. Depending on the location your stash could get raided by bears/mice/squirrels/insects, which would be a disaster
I'd bring a few good water filters, piles of multivitamins and a protein/fiber blend, and the cheapest high-cal no cook food you could find. Ramen is good because it can be eaten uncooked if needed, or boil water over a fire to cook it. Dried peanut butter is ideal but Idk how affordable. A fishing rod if there are any fishable waters nearby, maybe a slingshot and knife for hunting birds/squirrels and whatever for both boredom and some real food.
A flint/steel, loads of bug spray, some zing-it to hang/dry stuff, antibiotics and basic first aid, patches for your tent, a non-inflatable sleeping pad, multiple head lamps and batteries or buy solar headlamps, or those flashlights you can pump. Hand crank radio
If you're staying the winter I'd bring water treatment tabs instead of filters, a sleeping bag rated to at least -20 depending on the location and a 4 season tent. Lots of layers
Drugs and books could help pass the time and make it more enjoyable

Good advice. And great point about running out food. That would be the biggest issue for sure.

go small calibers. .223 or smaller.
do not start shooting the deer yet.
pellet guns are even better for wilderness survival especially in your area. get a break barrel/pump action .22 caliber pellet gun for long shots at squirrels birds rabbits. you need something to defend with too, not sure how you feel about side arms but would recommend getting one very soon people are stockpiling.
all stores here in state are sold out if 9mm ammo as of yesterday evening and nobody know when theyre getting more. i checked.
stores are closing soon hurry up

Start with .223!?! Are you kidding? Those are so fucking loud and will ruin more small game meat then it will provide. .22LR has killed more deer and small game and continues to be one my go to guns. I recently picked up a gamo whisper pellet rifle and would hunt with it.
I used to be real good with a wrist rocket style sling shot and lead ball ammo.
Bow and arrow if you have them.
Be quiet out there.
Fishing kit and traping kit are essential if you plan on any long term "camping".
Whats your stove / mess kit set up ? Even a soup and coffee can rocket stove will provide plenty of cooking / water boiling potential.
Bug spray / mosquito net.
Whats your sleeping situation look like? Tent , shelter , hammock ?

If you're going to purchase a firearm and have never used/owned one before or are not experienced at using one, a suggestion for your safety and others around you. Get some basic training on safely handling a firearm such as a hunter safety course. Every state that I'm aware of provides hunter education which includes gun safety plus a lot of them are online now too. Some of them are free also, you just need to create an account. Contrary to all the bad things you hear about the NRA they do offer information on firearms training & safety. Some of the training may require being a member but here is a link Hunter Safety Courses from their website for online training that is free.
If you decide not to do any training, here are some basic rules that I follow:
The first thing I do when handling a firearm whether it's mine or someone else's is treat it as if it is loaded (whether it is or not) and point it in a safe direction. The next thing I do is to check to see if is loaded regardless whether one says it is or not. When it comes time to load your firearm be sure there are no obstructions in your barrel before you load your firearm. When it comes time to shoot your firearm be sure of your target you're shooting at AND what is beyond. Once you shoot a firearm you can't pull your shot back.
Not trying to scare you. These are just a few rules out of many to follow but if you make safety your number one priority you'll less likely have an accident.

Hell yeah
Here is my list that I have on hand for staying in the woods: 1 first aid kit 1 4 foot tent 1 9mm ruger with a couple hundred rounds 1 sack full of dry and canned food 1 survival knife with essentials in the handle. 1 magnesium fire starter
Things I still need to get: -water purification tablets -5 gallon camping shower -more ammunition - cast iron skillet -pot to boil water
Edit: if it gets to this point would you let me join you? I have hunting skills that would be of use.

I already have most of that. I'll need way more food for 6 months though. Why do you say 6 months?

gut feeling been running on it for awhile. they wouldn't let me go back home if i wanted to right now and nobody has said when they will. in 6 months you can very easily harvest and store enough food for a winter if you know what you're doing and you have somewhere to do it

You have a hell of a good point....I might have to go to an agricultural store tomorrow to pick up some veggie seeds.
