Golden tops - Rot?
    #26530063 - 03/11/20 11:06 PM (3 years, 10 months ago)

Hi All,

Not sure if this is the correct board for this however I’ll post anyway as it is the main area I roam !
I was just wondering if anyone could please explain the green colouring shown on the golden tops I’ve only freshly picked.

They did not have this ‘greenish’ colouring when they were first picked. I had them placed in a reusable bag that unfortunately got wet due to the rain , I guess most importantly are these still edible?

Any feedback appreciated thank you

I don't think that's psilocybe cubensis

Could you take a picture of the gills

Wait for a TI,

but they look like P.cubensis to me. A little waterlogged, the greenish colour is the blue bruising I reckon

Looks Like You Have Some Slightly Water Logged Psilocybe Cubensis. They Are Still Fine To Eat. Wait For A TI, Nice Finds👍

Waterlogged.

If you dehydrated them, they would look fine.

sure look like cubes but,
They do look a little off to me. I don't see enough positive ID traits to say that is a 100% cube.
