2 months and ten days from spore to agar, flush one is in the dryer from the (not)LGT:

Shorties that aren't particularly dense, gonna guess this is ~20g dry. Grabbed the first one to open last night, gonna clone it tonight or tomorrow just to have, not exactly a promising set of fruits but hey, we did it!

Or for the side ones it looks like the surface is open enough you could spread your fingers out on it and flip it over so it comes out of the shoebox.
I’ve done that and set it on it’s side to harvest the side pins without hurting the surface shrooms.
Thanks A.k.a, that's kinda what I ended up doing. This cluster is super dense so I'm gonna pull some tissue clones from it tonight while I do my plate transfers. I'll post a full update tomorrow when I finish the 1st flush and likely harvest one or two other SBs. Gotta focus tonight on getting caught up in my Genesis II journal. Already have a bunch of plates to start transferring from

Yeah, PF Classic. My first run with them as well. Got the MSS in just a day or two before the first. Over all I'm happy with them as far as growth. Fastest on agar, grain, and fruiting. Haven't tested fruits yet though. Some of the stipes had flattened and split due to the curling and odd growth but all still felt pretty solid. The other top corner has a similar but lesser cluster that I should harvest tomorrow. First half of first flush is about 120g-ish (didn't weigh printing caps). So depending on how tomorrow looks first flush should be around 250g-300g

It just dawned on me that I will need\want to get some clones and propagate some prints since they all came from MSS (except Z) and I just wiped out the remainder of my 500cs of plates doing my restart. I think I have a little over 100 plates left, but they go by so much quicker than you think. At least for me....

So I’ve just been going through the list of participants on the first page to check out peoples stuff, y’all are killing me.
ZERO of the first 10 I clicked on actually followed through.
Lol I guess cbk and whoever promised prints to everybody who actually finished the project already knew, cuz I remember thinking damn that’s a lot of prints to make.
Toc is my only finished variety so far, but I’ve got pe6 z pesa and melmak knotting and just spawned 5qts of aa+ this morning. Gt and pan jam are the last of my lagm grows both on grain almost ready to shake.

No pics because I think tub pics are boring. But I'm still here and I have 5 shoeboxes of true albino teacher colonizing.
Looking good, Aka. It's going to be due for a shake soon and then you will know if it's good. If it bounces back quick you have a winner.

Thanks man.
I really hope so, my first jar of pans definitely did not respond well to shaking. Although I was having issues with bacteria and grain prep from switching brands so hopefully that was why.
My #1 mission in life right now is to finally try something other than cubes lol. Hopefully getting atl7 soon.
I’m with you on the tub pics, I’ve been occasionally updating my log but just editing the main post. No point in posting “still waiting on pins” every other day right.

When I first mentioned I couldn't start literally on Jan 1, the feedback I got immediately was negative. Been a little odd seeing all the start overs and what not in the meantime. Oh well, most seem to be progressing and it is fun to see all of the different techniques and projects.
Although I can't claim a Jan 1 start date, my first attempts at agar and all these new methods have gone way better than expected. As the teks said, agar is easy af.

Really?? As long as people wanted to participate then whatever imo. I know life gets in the way and things go wrong but I was all ready to read some logs and couldn’t believe every one I clicked either never started or never updated past two weeks.
Oh well more lagm for the rest of us.

Aw fuck man, I thought cbk corrected that and welcomed people to start late. That it was just about the grow and learning. Did you not start a log because of that comment?

I was curious because I noticed it was mostly us few keeping the thread alive and wasn't sure most were done or if the just stopped keep up with it. This LAGM definitely increased my record keeping discipline and I'm trying to keep that momentum going with my Gen II log. So far, I'm doing better on paper than on here, but at least it's written down somewhere.

I’ve def got to update the latest pins and what not, second mono of PESA is pinning below the top layer I put on, think I may have made that one a bit thick I reckon.....being lower temperatures I’ve been having, I’m hoping is the reasoning for my slow ass jars but then BAM! Everything is ready and it’s been almost nightly getting at least 1 tub spawned. The 4 bags I made for a first shot are actually doing good and not having moisture issue I thought I would. But if they finish too fast, I dunno where I’m putting those 4 monos!

Well, that curbed my enthusiasm on starting a log, but did not change any other plans. I wasn't certain how competitive it would be, and thought that might be the cause of the issue.
Seeing the great logs here though, not sure I could have added much. What is most helpful for me is the pictures and I don't really have those. Or your handwriting, those written logs are works of art.
Anyhow, what I've learned:
1. Don't judge a germ plate. My best (to the untrained beginner's eye) plates went nowhere in the end, and the ones I thought failed are way ahead.
2. If a germ plate sits long enough it can sometimes go rhizo and capturing that can jump ahead to where other plates are after one or two transfers.
3. Varieties have very different behavior on agar. Or at least different prints do. But even taking many germ plates from the same print, the behavior is extremely similar between them compared to germ plates from a different print.
4. You can take a T2 to grain.
We'll see how the last phase goes, not finished yet.

I tried to keep up with my logs but I am just so busy with life and cult. Got a few fruiting monos of different sizes , down to sweaterboxes and shoeboxes. To much for me to want to log and stuff. Lazy . I kinda dropped out. I did makes clones of what I do have logged. They are on grain now so nothing to show really. The white tailfeathers (wtf) is way more rhizo than the normal phenotype. Which is still rhizo.
I can't wait to see the ppl who got prints grow theirs and post logs.
