Anyone else following the situation unfolding between these countries? It's becoming a big show.
Basically, Turkey and Syria are having a small war and Russia is backing Syria. Russia also sold weapons to Turkey not so long ago. There was a couple days of drone warfare going back and forth between Turkey and Syria/Russia. Now USA says they will possibly support Turkey by sending weapons to fight off Russian support behind Syria, which I really disagree with as an American.
ALSO, Turkey is using thousands and thousands of "immigrants" to rush the border of Greece as black mail for support from the EU against Syria. Turkish propaganda has really kicked into gear the past couple days, showing fake news reports of Turkish migrants being undressed and sent back to Turkey, but evidence is already circulating debunking all of it.
Meanwhile, there's videos of the Turkish migrants putting very young children over fires to make them cry for photo ops at the border and the Turkish police are shooting chemical weapons over the border to assist the migrants. Most of the migrants are young men from Asia and Africa, but also Syrians, Turks and other Middle Eastern men (primarily men from Afghanistan).
Ergodan is threatening to release millions of migrants into Europe if his demands aren't met by the EU. Greece is the entry point into Europe and is trying to protect its border from the assault that is taking place. This is not a peaceful migration but more of an invasion.
If you want to keep up with the news, avoid mainstream media, and look at "Twitter Search" and use hash tags like #Greece #Turkey #Syria etc and use "latest/newest" search filter. Outlets like CNN are promoting the actions of Turkey with fake news, which is just pathetic.
Anyways, figured I'd write this because I dont hear much discussion in person or see much online, but this is getting pretty ugly. Thoughts?

Also, various EU countries are sending troops to help Greece protect its borders and the rest of Europe.
Recently Turkey has been flying jets in Greece airspace, trying to intimidate Greek helicopters patrolling/surveying their border.
Meanwhile, NewYorkTimes is continually putting out fake news propaganda to support what Turkey is doing. Disgusting. Mainstream media is a enemy of peace and freedom.
